This would be actually be an easy solution, but that’s not an option to the SJW police
They must be seen and suffered by everyone, but oh lordy lord if they have to suffer someone or something else… the burning pitchforks will fly, I tell you!

There is an option to remove them from the chat box. Just right click on the General tab of the chat box, select settings and and untick it.

I seriously had no idea about this.
I’m definitely going to turn it off when I get home from work.
Edit: do the sounds turn off as well? Or only the text in chat?
Think its text only however its better than nothing.
How often do people use emote to a point where it annoys others? I rarely even see other players in this game, let alone their emotes.

These terms can usually be replaced by “blocklist” and “allowlist” without changing their meanings, but particular instances may need other replacements.
I won’t even notice tbh, haven’t seen emotes in ages. Have them disabled on all my characters
It reminds me of a while ago when I /hugged a druid in cat form, and they whispered me with rage insisting I assaulted them. Then one of their guildies messaged me, also with anger.
They were mostly angry because Instead of promising to stop, I told them to put me on ignore. Because I hug random druids. I like kitties. I’m not going to remember everyones name.
Also, 99.99999% of people like or are indifferent to random hugs.

Lets also fix alliance players shortage. Remove Horde and ban all they players so only alliance will be playable.
You know that there is system in game that allow you mute player? Blizzard only need to expand it.
You know they are removing certain emotes, and cerainly not annoying ones like train, so these changes will not actually change anything meaningful.
You can’t honestly say you don’t find a male troll sitting in a mine cart and using /train charming though.
I have yet to experience such a sight.
In all seriousness, I did not know WOW had an emote option.
I’ve been playing the game for years, totally oblivious about it’s existence.
