Implement a 30 min ban from queuing to anything if you miss the queue to any queuable content

Next available person is also afk and then next available person is afk and then next available person is afk and on it goes.

Honestly the LFR queue is so bad that it should actually just move you into the raid if you’re not in combat, then give you an extra couple of minutes to stop being afk.

The number of times it pops right as I’ve given up and gone downstairs to make a cuppa is absurd. Wasting our lives because it doesn’t give a reasonable chance to be ready.

Do you take screenshots of every single “one in a lifetime” thing that happen so you can have ““proof”” while you whine about literally whatever annoyed you enough today?

I’m not sure if my memory is correct, but this is how it used to work when LFR first got introduced in cataclysm with Dragon Soul. Even afkers who didnt accept got in.

People AFK not accepting the pop is not the problem. The problem i notice very often is when i wait for 30 min for only tank to join, and when queue pops and dps dont accept, i get placed in queue with no one in it and have to wait another 30min

I actually don’t understand how queue works lol. A dps declines and then you have to wait for the tank or healer for some god know what reason.

Because the queue is about parameters.

You fit the parameters with the group that popped and then no longer fit them when that DPS declined and the system found other people that fit the parameters.

As an example when ít caused significant issues for some people, this is why there were people waiting forever as DPS if they had done uldaman when it just launched in its reworked version. People that had not done it was prioritized before people that had done it, so people that had done it waited for ages to get a group going because tanks and healers were being sent into groups with DPS that hadn’t completed it and the DPS that had completed it had to take a backseat.

Had a friend that tried to gear alts in uldaman and he straight up didn’t play unless I was online to queue with him because he had to wait forever if he signed as a solo dps after his first run.

Yeah, but that event was an exemption. I don’t think that queue for regular dungeons has such rules.

So we can’t whining when we are playing 13€ every month?

Bad thing xD

It does have parameters, not just ones that are as restrictive as the uldaman queue back then but you can still get shafted by it or benefit(if you want to call it that).

As another example of this is when you’re lvling a new character, it’s less likely that you get queued into dungeons that you have completed before. I noticed this when I was leaving every time I got dire maul because I absolutely hate that place and I was getting it a ridiculous amount of times compared to other dungeons and eventually I slogged through one and then I barely got it again after that. So I just make sure to get it done when getting into it first time when lvling any new character now so I don’t just end up in a loop of leaving it continously because I’m going to get it over and over if I don’t do it as the pool of dungeons not completed shrinks when I complete other dungeons.

The system is also responsible for why you don’t really see groups that consist of only one class in the dungeon finder unless you go premade. When you see queues pop and then you lose the tank/healer after a dps declines, it’s probably a case of there being too many of your class in the group if it would go ahead with the next person in queue.

I think it might be active in timewalking queues, based on completion of the timewalking quest because I never really run into any DPS badge farmer and I’ve usually had to wait longer than when I don’t have the quest completed when I do queue as dps if I’m just farming badges.

This system also seems to be active in solo shuffle, which is pretty annoying.

i just declined a dungeon because the event mob spawned so thats probably what happened with u

Ah yes, if someone accepts in a skirmish they are auto transported to arena to fight a 1v2 if someone doesn’t accept, clearly relatable to dung que that sends u back into que if someone declines…

Skirmish isn’t even something that really gives you any rewards.

What’s that got to do with abandoning someone during a 1v2 match he is forced to get into?

Which let me add is like a 1 minute penalty

30 min ban from queueing if they time out due to being afk sure but not if they gotta decline for whatever reason. Sometimes I queue up as wrong role get insta pop and have to decline to requeue as correct role.

It’s strictly a for fun mode yet it has penalties applied to not accepting the queue.

It increases every time you miss the queue.

had same problem god found dps pretty quik only took 10 mint haha

Why bash communism? A capitalistic approach would be far worse - a queue bypass token in the game store. The more expensive and the better quality the token is, the more players do you skip in queue and the faster do you get to play the queued content.

Wtf are u even trying to argue. It’s firstly a pvp mode which is competitive no matter if it’s meant for fun or not.

Secondly, how it functions is forcibly tping u into a match even if ur partner afk declines hence partner get’s penalized. It isn’t a dung where everyone afk’s and no one is forced into a dung without the right amount of pple.

Also realistically do u really think the person who keeps declining is the same one all the time? how tf u gonna penalize that, even xiv gives pple 3 strikes
