Cats deserved this buff and thanks to this I secured my raid spot. Cats are strong now but not overturned.
Iām 5k gs cat and noone wants me in Ulduar 10HM even after buff. Most people actually prefer fury over ferals in their group for sunders and 5% crit and commanding shout. Most bosses doesnāt require innervate or battle res. And even if this is required (like for Algalon) most groups want boomie for that purpose.
I donāt know what every warrior whines about not being represented enough. Literally every normal (not hard parsing/speedruning) guild has 2-3 warriors and only 1 feral (2 max).
Yes but thatās not the point. I am not saying that anything should be changed with speedruns in mind. I am saying that top performing groups are choosing āweakā feral in every raid comp.
So the problem is not with spec power but with players not being able to use it. If feral is buffed because some players canāt use its power then the next logical step is buffing unholy because not everyone can snapshot garry.
This isnāt true at all come on. Cats bring 5% crit too, they do much more dps than Fury Warrior, itās not even close. Feral is now one of the best single target dps in the game, and they also have incredible AOE making them also one of the best on trash, or fights like Freya with adds.
Most raids take one Warrior, for commanding shout. You can cover Sunder armor with a Rogue or Prot Warrior, both capable of getting the buff up faster than a DPS Warrior, for more raid dps. With a cat you bring innervate, battle res, 5% crit, bleed buff and very strong dps since the buff.
Fury is āfineā and can perform well, but itās still one of the weaker specs without much utility, people are mostly taking them because they are available and popular as a hangover from Vanilla/TBC with some picture of Shadowmourne pinned to a wall with the tag āsoonā
Doesnāt that apply to all classes to lesser or bigger degree? Even resto druid isnāt just Reju/WG spam. Let meta slaves invite meta classes/specs and face reality
Most raids take only one Feral aswell.
Yeah, because their damage wasnāt good. But now their damage is top tier, so times change.
Meanwhile two months ago when they nerfed dks they clearly mentioned:
We want to make it clear that we are not planning any further adjustments to any other classes for patch 3.4.1. We feel the class representation in raids is in a fairly good place right now across all classes, and we have no plans or desire for any further tuning adjustments. An adjustment like this one is for the sole purpose of preventing a specific class from becoming dramatically over or under-represented. We stated before that we will use the patch 3.3.5 class balance, with as few adjustments as possible, and we intend to stick to that.
None of what you are saying is accurate and you are forgetting that warrior was the most played class in the game in vanilla, even during late TBC they had a lot of mains again when they were good with glaives, ofc there are still some of players, but not a lot. No one is tanking, cause paladins are ridiculous, nearly all are fury, but reality is that the least brought class in the game is warrior, statistically no other class is brought less than warriors.
Now with the buff there is even less reason to bring a fury over a cat. Commanding is not always something you need and it is mostly relevant only for algalon, where you might as well run a prot warrior OT, even so get a pala MT and do 4/2 stack splits and you can do it fine with a druid OT and having them DPS the whole way.
Reality is, that the warrior population has been dwindling from one of the most played to now the least and it is evident that having no good specs and no value to be brought to a raid for is part of it.
Sunders are worse than IEA period, both dps wise gain and loss etc.
Cat gives a 5% crit that also gives small heals and is far better dps wise.
Cat can OT like the warrior, even better so outside of algalon.
Warrior has no place really and you can barely justify bringing em for Commanding, but people do also know that the content isnt that hard. So a lot of guilds wont kick their friends just cause they play a bad spec.
That went out the window when they said rets was fine and their 2 S tier specs made up for it, but then went back on it and gave them a mega buff too.
Ret was buffed 1k dps which is gonna be more overtime, Ferals got a 1-2k DPS increase also scaling over time, meanwhile warriors still got nerfed for working as intended with roughly 500-1000 dps over time, at the start of the expansion, when they were at their worst.
Some classes arent treated the same clearly.
Druids have been blizzardās pet class since the start of original wow. Even back when āyou canāt be the best when youāre a hybridā was a thing druids were still the best at running away and this let them eventually kill anyone in world pvp. Since then, druids were always the absolute best at at least one thing. They were also always the ones complaining the loudest about other classes, and this let them avoid deserved nerfs. Carrying over into Classic thereās no reins to hold them back any longer, moonkin buff next, mark my words.

Druids have been blizzardās pet class since the start of original wow.
Huh ? Vanilla all 4 ways to play Druid was literally horrible and dead last. Before you spew more bs, please check the list of most op classes since the dawn of WoW for PvE. Warlocks have been BY FAR the most dominant class in WoW overall. Tier by tier. The second class is not even close.
Please, sit down.
Nice trolling.

Great tank and healer? Srsly?

Druid is such a great tank, so good that there is plenty of them around.
Youāre absolutely clueless and raid with bad people if you donāt see feral off-tanks.
