Oh yes they do. All this complains about 3 itemlvls difference comes from few entilted players what would feel hurt even if it would be just 0.5 itemlvl. But majority of people will never ever bother spent their time for such minor upgrades. Imagine all those hours you have to put into mythic raiding and managing raid schelude. And do all that for 3 itemlvl upgrade. Absolutly not. Only way is to remove difficulty levels.
You’d be wrong. There have been mass complaints when an upgrade wasn’t a numerical upgrade from the previous tier. With stat weights you have to be sure it’s an upgrade; the closer the ilevels then it’s not always the case.
This is an MMO, you work hard on gear, you get the gear, and you use the gear to slap who don’t have the gear, it should be this way.
