It's Friday

Add to that. Enough with the same OPs who have said time and time again they are quitting the game. Only to come back to talk about something they did in the game again very short time later.

After 300 tries I finally got Grungy containment pack from Bubbleblood, and didnt even feel a thing.

Well for me even going to dentist beats the Maw Intro any day!

I know people always use the “killing boars” thing as meme, but i actually enjoy sometimes to go to classic and just grind some professions mats while having a big mug of coffee. Including those boar livers!

This weekend i am planning to first time use this new off set smoker/bbq combo we ordered and which came last week. Can’t wait! (disclaimer: not making boar livers but shop bought pork shoulder and wings)

Fingers crossed things going well, thanks to some lockdown restriction lifts my sister-in-law and nephew can visit us this weekend which is awesome as I haven’t seen them in what feels like aggggggeeees in person.

I spent the morning before work preparing some dough to ferment during the day and bake alter tonight, so I can make some lovely varieties of tear and share bread which we’ll be having for lunch with some lovely, warmed dippy cheese like Camembert. Overnight the bread’s crust should go just hard enough for that perfect chewy chomp.

I’m excited. I love baking and cooking already but I love doing it when lots of us will be eating together and “making a spread”. Homemade doughnuts for possible pudding later as well with a homemade knock-off version of the Cadbury’s Pot of Joy creamy-chocolate not-quite-a-mousse type things which I made yesterday night. After a couple of days in the fridge they get a lovely texture!

All this said, not sure how my wife’s attempts at reigniting a healthier eating plan this weekend will go. We will see.

I baked before me and my wife met and she reminds me often that had she known I baked prior, she may have revised her decision because it has probably been one of the bigger factors in lack of long-term-adherence to a diet plan, always having bread in the house and fresh bread smells every couple of days.

Bread is perfect for lockdown. It gives something to do, takes time, love, attention, do you can do it pairs or groups and at the end you get something lovely out of it too. I taught my daughter how to make pretzels last weekend which was amazing fun and she was surprisingly good at knotting them.

Bread is also good for lockdown because as long as I have flour and water (ideally salt too and yeast but but necessary) my household will not starve, so the shops can do what they like as I tend to have HUGE bags of flour in my larder (as well as tons of yeast)
Don’t even need an oven necessarily. Made bread the other day with a home-made solar oven baking over the day’s duration (when it was a hot day) and another day roasted it in a tin over a fire just because why not?

Please can you host a Forum Lunch where we all get together and eat some of this tasty food? We can all cosplay as our characters as otherwise none of us will recognise each other!

Sorry for the spam. Quit work for today which means going to buy beer and chill in a park. It’s officially weekend now.

Can’t send food in pixels i’m afraid and i’m not sure people would like me sending photos of food I will eat, but they won’t.

If you meant otherwise I am not entirely sure how many others are also natives of blighty.

And regarding cosplay, there is no universe of parallel events where I will make a convincing tauren. I’d pass for a shorter and leaner kul tiran given I speak with the dialect/accent blizzard were supposedly going for when imagining Kul Tiras (Assuming they were going for the Southern/South-westerny twangs)

I understand and approve of this reference.

There is something about co-op and “local shop” sandwiches for me. Like, the bread is so cold, it’s almost wet, but it’s not wet, it’s really wierd but it’s super nice at the same time. It turns something like a simple cheese sandwich into an absolute banger of a lunch when you can’t be bothered to make it from scratch.

I still need to work out what i’m having for dinner tonight, too focused on tomorrow’s!!! :man_shrugging:

Get lost! I’ve already claimed this bench!
