3-They’ve shown that now with the corruption of fel disappearing, their eyes are turning gold, meaning that the sunwell which is currently light infused as well, turns their eyes GOLD.
CONCLUSION: Golden eyes. Not blue. Dalaran elves aren’t blood elves.
Even ION himself says blue eyed blood elves don’t make sense. And now another one of you shows up here, trying to justify something that blizzard themselves consider something that doesn’t make sense?

What about the big amount of Sunreavers who lived in Dalaran and not in Silvermoon and have not been around fel structures and thus would not have green eyes?
Some of those also spawn with blue eyes during the purge of dalaran (Not a bug).
When? Actually about 30 minutes ago. New interview of him with a french streamer. They asked him about blue eyed blood elves. He said it’s not happening and it doesn’t make sense either.
not sure the exact time, but you’ll see a picture of a blood elf with blue eyes on their screen when she asks that question. Go ahead and try finding it that way. It’s probably easier.
I quite frankly find his argumentation to be wrong exactly because they introduced golden eyes with the very reason that they did. Blood Elves would as a result of the Sunwell’s reignition be losing their fel taint and as a result they would start getting golden eyes; which we would see on paladins and priests specifically because… well, for obvious reasons they are using the light actively.
There are a lot of mess in regards to this eye-colour changing theory overall and I would prefer to argue with the actual lore team in blizzard.
There are several questions to be asked and answered.
What about the still existing High Elves? We know that they are still connected to the Sunwell we learn that in TBC and in the story ‘In the Shadow of the Sun’. If the Light is so overpowering that golden eyes would be the natural ‘evolution’ for the Blood Elves as opposed to what the Blood Elves mostly draw upon.
Why is the High Elves’ eyes not turning golden as well?
If i were to guess, I’d say the fel corruption is more than just an eye color change. Just like how fel corruption nearly permanently changes orcs’ skin color, it does the same to the blood elf eyes. Only those who use the power of the light can slowly remove it, which turns their eyes golden. What we generally know about the blue eyes is that this color can only occur with a pure source of arcane magic. Sunwell is no longer pure arcane. So the bigger question here is why are some characters as you CLAIM still have blue eyes while they are using the sunwell. I personally doubt that part though.
Current High Elves all have blue eyes and are connected to the Sunwell.
All elves of Quel’thalas were per default connected to the Sunwell, even after exile which was noted in the story ‘In the shadow of the sun’
We also see High Elves going on a pilgrimage to the Sunwell in WOTLK during the Quel’delar questline.
There are a lot of questions to be asked, and perhaps I should find the lore team’s twitter and ask personally and see if they would even answer. I have a feeling they are not really well-versed in the story that is the Blood Elves.
