Joining M+ pug groups - say Hello and Goodbye

At this point you just straigh up lie. Priest is far better healer than shaman specialy for dungeons.

Nope. People wanted the windfury totem.

If you quit classic over 1 group wanting windfury becouse they had full meele group than i really dont get how can you keep playing retail since demands on retail are far higher and far more stritck.

It wasn’t 1 group. It was pretty much all the groups.

Yeh sure. I did every single dungeon on classic diuring leveling and i wasnt rejected as priest for single dungeon. We get tank, heal 3x dps and nobady cared who played what. I had groups even with enha shamans, balance druids, etc… So you you either lie or you were just super unlucky and meet only min maxers. Or maybe you were just bad.

Good for you. You’re straight up lying if you’re going to say that people didn’t go full stupid about meleecleave groups, which required a shaman as the healer btw.

No they didnt. It was couple of streamers and min maxers majority of players were leveling normaly.

Hahahaha, yeah, sure. If you believe in your own lies.

So you want me to say hi tens of thousands of times for no reason? Are you one of those obnoxious “say hi to everebody on the street” people?

If you think it’s good upbringing to force people to interact with you, even if they don’t want to, I don’t even know what to tell you. You lack the mental faculties to comprehend basic rationality. But you’re from Argent Dawn, so I shouldn’t be surprised.

I have to both agree with @Haxxman-Silvermoon and also believe that this is going to the extreme.

Insta kick for not immediately saying a “hi”? And for the purpose of “avoiding toxicity”? Honestly…whats next? Kicking cause the transmog is too revealing, the char name is not a proper name for a human, draenai, orc and etc. Perhaps kick cause you play a human rogue but I want a night elf rogue?
Maybe a kick cause I want your transmog to be more in red color?

In your efforts to “avoid toxicity” you might be actually creating more of it. The person who you kicked for some minor reason will obviously be surprised or even annoyed…and then he can just start acting like a censored to others in retaliation…and the gift that keeps on giving. Your “efforts to avoid toxicity” might work as a seed to create more of it…

You make a fair point but then go and ruin it with an idiotic statement “Ur from server X so lol”. Not exactly a fantastic concluding statement to make in a post trying to get others to check their own toxicity.

Despite this is still agree kicking ppl for not saying hi is a dumb move even if I’m part of the crowd who does a greet every dungeon.

Not true,i played during Classic launch(probably the biggest realm, and hardcore) and the meta was from 28-45 lvl Ravager melee cleave groups and everyone was running resto shaman for WF procs on that wep,and i cant blame them it was super efficent and fast…probably to this day. This is where the efficiency part of my post jumps in,why people are different nowdays then back then.

Then again you took his post out of context and pushed it to extremes to force the narrative how being polite and mannered in mmo should not be a thing.I mean your whole narrative throwout the thread is trying to justify this type of behavior. But hey ok…you do you.

No only small minority of players wa runing this type of comps. Maybe you should give yourself pause watching streams and youtube becouse majority of players never played that way.

I wondered what happened to simply “minding your own business”. I don’t consider it as “polite and good mannered” that I start interrogating or punishing somebody(as in kick) simply cause he “dared not to /say Hi” ?
Is it really that hard to just leave those guys in peace if they are not in a talkative mood?^^^

What are you talking about, everyone wants to mimic the most efficent way.I experienced it first hand yet you are here claiming its not the case, fine you say so but i know first hand how it was back then for a straight up 1-2 months and back in March(when i logged back in march people where running those comp/spams in /world).

If we look at it this way then there is no faul play from the start, everyone has the right to run there m+ groups as they wish,if you cant respect the rules, someone else will.

Well there is no rules regarding that. Just your personal choice on the matter. Some are more talkative that others. Otherwise…are introverts or people who are simply more quiet in nature pretty much “outlaws and criminals” now?

How does this have any and i mean any relation on “joining m+ pug groups-say hello and goodbye” in an mmo game?

I feel ignored when i greet people in a group and didn’t get greeted back :frowning:

Cause thats not a social gathering but a task which needs to be done? If somebody wants to write their pleasantries, be my guest. If they just want to get this “show on the road” then that also more than a reasonable attitude. Or…I have clearly been playing the game wrong and M+s are for “tea and biscuits” to sit and talk about the weather?
