Hunter is a safe character. It is literally very good every patch every expansion. Super easy to play both dungeons raids and solo world content as well. Great mobility also. Just a well rounded character.
Tauren Guardian Druid
Tauren are like capybaras of wow. They just radiate peace.
Guardian druids seem to be the most chill. Probably as the spec itself is quite chill

I tend to have positive experiences from people who play tauren, druid or shaman, and dwarves (any class). Trolls tend to be pretty chill too (the OG ones).
Most of my negative experiences came from interacting with Orcs, Humans, Gnomes and Blood Elves, which makes sense, as these races are the most saturated ones, do chances are higher you meet absolute potatoes (except Gnomes, not sure what is up with them).
Most other races I do not interract with too often, so I cannot really give you an opinion on them.
Up to BFA, Nightelfs were undoubtedly the chillest race in Azeroth.
Now, I’d like to recommend Human monk.
Being a human makes you one of Azeroth’s mightiest races, and monk always makes you a cool player.
Tauren and Kul Tiran are usually chill
Undead players are usually not.
It also depends on what you actually do. If you are a Night Elf for PvP for instance, I assume you picked the class because of racials.
I hear Worgens are pretty cool, and the people who play them are most likely very sexy, intelligent, and just all round good people. So I have heard anyway.

As a general experience, Pandaren monks are the most chill class race combination.
Generally speaking, Pandaren players are the most reasonable and friendly.
Pandaren Monks is a good Chill combo, as well as Tauren or Highmountain Tauren.
I dont know why but in world pvp the most agressive classes are usually hunters and warlocks, most toxic are rogues by far,
paladins and warriors are territorial, druids usually attack with someone else or they just dont, dh is usually not agressive unless provoked. And other classes are just not that common to see at all.
