Just remember, this is the most expensive game on the market

been like that since 2011 Problem today is blizzard don’t have time to test their stuff and also don’t want people to test it to much so they get a head start personally I don’t care for world first since we aren’t a Moba Multimillion dollar game that blizzard desperately wants wow to be why i don’t know.

They should just go back to the roots how it was before MOP WOD Legion etc.

The story for new gamers is incoherent at best meh compared to other games like Guild wars whom scale up *all their old content to be like their new content and they don’t make more lvls etc

I think at some point wow will have to stop the lvling and make content coherent guild wars stops at lvl 80 and you get new content that coinside with old content and you can play any dungeon raid what not whiteout having to get downgrades.

If wow should survive they need to make old content viable well they sorta are trying that in M+ at the moment I hope it comes to open world soon.

Dragonflight compared to Shadowlands is bland.

aah the weekend is here and so are the hate threads.

if you farm hard at the start of an expansion you probably can earn enough gold to buy sub for the rest of the expansion. Well if you take breaks from wow for another game like a normal person.

I didnt end up farming as much as i intended too but i still got enough gold to buy 3 wow tokens and still sitting on almost 1,5 mill gold wich i earned this expansion. So if you know when to farm stuff you can earn plenty to keep subbed

Nothing broken for me

One actually doesn’t need most of these packs to play. Just few expansions and you are good to go.

Two years of sub adds 264€ with 4x6 months, or 480€ with tokens.
I’ve seen some new game on Steam today for 80€ though. Let’s not be entirely unfair, it isn’t the price of 10 games, only 5

I’d say the bottom line is, for this money - warranted or not - one should expect and receive premium service. Top notch customer service, wonderful graphics, music, plenty of storylines, patches, state of the art user interface, most perfect class balance, add a few things as you see fit.

I assume pricing of games includes DLC, the basic game just about breaking even, if even. However, WoW also has a lot of synergy - reused dungeons, class design… and compatibility has a price. Still, five games are aplenty.

You’re getting an objectively inferior version of the game doing that. I’m not dismissing the fact that wow is a really expensive hobby, but it’s something you choose to do, just like you can choose to get only a few expansions, you can choose to sub for less than 24 months during a wow expansion. I have no idea how does anyone stay subbed for more than like 8-10 even from an expansion

That is true though, for the price of it.

Not even close. There is a game named Tacticool and people spend literally thousands of dollars to upgrade their operators.

OK, you convinced me that there are few games that are more expensive than WOW but it is also true that WOW is more expensive than most of the games by a huge margin.
What really annoys me is that I haven’t been able to play this expensive game for a 3rd day in a row.

Ok, meybe i didn’t play so many mobile games.30pounds it’s too much. However still i think that boxes making far more moneys then season passes.

If Kotick was not lining his pockets more than Gallywix, this game can be so much more.

I don’t count a subscription as the game cost personally. It’s not a standard measure as everyone subs for varying periods of time. To me the cost of the game is the expansion cost each timr.

I can understand not everyone want to play sub based games. They come in all sorts of formats on both console and PC.

It’s not unplayable.

MOST expansalv game on the market Ha Ha, do you experience the Diablo Immortal?

It is for me and many other people.

how does the boot taste, you want some salt and pepper? your answer is the downright most stupid and obvious one,
critique? BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY

What makes it unplayable? What is different now than during other times?

I’m not necessarily against subs.

I play a game with a DLC model, averaging around 5-10€ a month, however I’m getting specific content for that. I also don’t have to buy anything if I decide to slow down, or want to explore content I already own. Furthermore, I can cherry pick content that interests me (feedback).

It is very similar to the GW2 model. You have to pay for each content upgrade (with money or gems), but the pace is up to you.

In WoW, you pay a sub and Blizzard delivers as little, as possible. The latter part is capitalism 101. Quite simply I’m only here because I took the WLK deal, and it was too long to keep having fun.

Arguably, subscriptions motivate people to focus on a game, to make the most out of their money. Playing 4 hours of WoW a month can be absolutely valid, but it’s not possible (sensible). I didn’t play since monday and I sort of feel I have wasted my money. But now! Nagrand awaits.
