I believe it too now…
Let’s see :
- Creeping Death no longer decreases the duration of your damage over time effects.
Kalazami asked for the same thing with baseline Rapid Contagion in his video.

Malefic Rapture being unfun as a spender
- Malefic Affliction – Malefic Rapture causes your active Unstable Affliction to deal 5/10% additional damage, up to 15/30%, for the rest of its duration.
Malefic rapture now becomes an amplifier

I am a bit worried about Unstable affliction being a single target spell… but I’ll wait and see how it comes out in the testing phase with Soul Swap. However, if it is implemented as 30% nerf to Unstable Affliction that’d be a bad, very bad thing.
A quick comment on the other changes :
- Soul-Eater’s Gluttony – Whenever Unstable Affliction deals damage, the cooldown of Soul Rot is reduced by 0.5/1.0 second.
→ It means that affliction becomes even more Dot Centric for with a strong and frequent finishing move/burst Dot
- Grim Reach (a choice against Wilfred’s Sigil of Superior Summoning) – When Darkglare deals damage, it deals 50% of that damage to all enemies affected by your damage over time effects.
→ This damage talent is pretty insignificant since darkglare doesn’t do much damage. But in the overall picture, the “Summon Darkglare” talent itslef becomes mandatory… Because it addresses the snapshot issues : it allows to extend the duration of our amplified dots and thus prolonge the amplification effects.
