the comb works because of deathbolt. Every comb can work up to 2400 btw. Boomy/affli isnt a bad comb and can work alot higher though.
But next season without deathbolt and without value from the legendary i dont think its going to be great
its overall i dont even think they thought of pvp.
normal: 6% boomy 3 % partner
burst: 12% boomy 8% partner
thats how they wrote it in patchnotes.
I think im going to buff myself on my boomy though especially with the mastery buff
Mastery buff might not be nerfed as it was never % based. Also it gives 15% extra damage just from Kindred if you cast it on yourself.
“You and your Kindred Spirit each gain a bonus secondary stat based on their Covenant. This bonus is halved for your Kindred Spirit, however both bonuses are doubled while the bond is Empowered.”
So i guess its 12/6 then? Alot less valuable then for necro. If i saw it right they are buffing the value for kyrian bonding though, that should be fun for certain specs or classes…

The problem with the bonding is that it is complete garbage without the legendary. The legendary gives 99% of the actual value. Play without it and you get nothing.
They can nerf the legendary, but they need to fix the main spell so that it is not a complete waste to bind with someone other than yourself.
That’s why you use it on yourself. Not only you get 15% more damage but Mastery bonus. Also Mastery bonus got buffed from 150 Mastery to 210. They want Kyrian Boomy to use it on himself.
TBH people can just stay on boomy and win the game. This comp looks very weak defensively.
Doesnt matter man. Moonkins are just like rogues…they just switch to the next most obnoxious and OP covenant when something gets nerfed.
