I think they split. Shandris and her followers did, Tyrande and her followers didn’t.
Nope, Shandris is still loyal to Tyrande, even though she might not agree with her.

Yes, there is no indicator that she split from Tyrande, especially after the ending cinematic where she simply urged Tyrande to let go of her rage but still followed her wishes.
Just because some night elves don’t agree with giving in to rage and vengeance, doesn’t mean they would split off from their leader who led them for 10k years.
I loved King Rastakhan… I’m still sad when he is died…

I don’t think all of the Horde feel at peace with the Alliance either.
Ehh, probably right. I think she is the go to option for Night Elves If/when Tyrande goes full crazy and night elves need a new leader.
I don’t think half the Horde does, but sometimes you need to just suck it up and grit your teeth, because you have no means nor manpower to continue the slaughter and don’t want to put the rest of your people at risk again.

Go and take a trip around ambassy~ you will see Thrall speaking with Gazlowe about current state of Goblins 
Both sides have exhausted themselves. However I do not see Rastakhan as a suitable Warchief. I’m not really sure any of them are atm. Which is presumably why we have a council now.
The council of Lor’Themar, Thalyssra and Baine is the best leadership Horde has ever had.

Yes, hence neither side want to continue the war, because…well, they can’t. And yes, I think they all finally realized that having a warchief just doesn’t work in this modern Horde which is about four times more diverse than it was in vanilla. Took them long enough…

I think it’s safe to say everyone on the Alliance except Anduin is siding with Genn, point of view now.
