4K60 monitors cost literally like what? £200? Considering my monitors costed £1100 and £600 I would say that I am not “jelly”. It is simply a fact that high refresh rate is more important than high resolution, especially in games like WoW that have the lowest polygon count in the history of game development. Playing WoW at 4K literally looks exactly the same as 1440p. Hardware is still not powerful enough to run games consistently at 4K144 which is why anyone who uses a 4K monitor right now is clueless and most likely just wen with the “bigger number” since they don’t understand computers.
The only other reasoning behind your choice would be that you’re so old that you cannot tell the difference between 60 and 144 Hz but considering your only response is that I am jelly that’s probably not the case.

I disagree. 60 FPS is perfectly comfortable and very playable, even in very fast paced games like StarCraft 2.
Unless you’re playing shooters you don’t really need to worry about frame rate as far as performance goes. It’s certainly not important in WoW.
Also, WoW is not the lowest detail game ever made what the Hell are you even on about.
No. No, it absolutely does not. Take it from someone who actually owns a 4K monitor, yea? And incidentally also someone who owns a 300Hz 1080p monitor (it’s so overkill, but that’s what my laptop came with lol).
I have tried plenty of both high framerate and high resolution gaming, and I prefer the resolution.
RTX 3080 can run quite a few games at 4K120+

I did not have this problem you describe, but I do have problems in Ardenweald and my server is near dead, so that explains why I’m not experiencing issues in Korthia. That’s all I got.
