thats the main problem!! they dont respect our time or effort with this RNG endgame loot. You cannot “plan” your character… 1 day you spend 100k gold for a 262ilvl craft then the next day you get same slot from great vault… so you either lose 100k gold or you dont buy a craft in the first place because of the “chaotic” way gear is aquired…
You decide to upgrade a piece of gear, then you get it from great vault or from higher key… bam… wasted valor points.
Its really ridiculous to be treated like this as players… is the worst reward system in almost all MMOs I played. I can write and explain how it works on other MMOs but I am sure most of you know already.
Only few of us left to play, because we refuse to abandon our loved game but a day will come when “enough is enough” for us too, as it happened for millions before us. We left the “Elitist Jerk” Ion destroy our loved game. These devs should be banned from gaming industry not just get fired from wow.
the game is not trash because of how expensive the upgrades on weapons are.
the game is trash because there is idiotic cap on it just so hardcore people dont cry that they have to cap their 2187391271389 alts on week 1 .
also its deliberate - keeps your sub runing longer.
tbh its not like you need to get those upgrade. good players were without doubt clearing +15 in 250 gear on week 1.
but for casual pug crowd this tier will be much much rougher then last one. theyhave only other players to blame for this for acting like clowns and making fun how easy last tier was .
its never wasted. if it allowed you to for example get into groups for +1 diffuclty then its not wasted . if it allowed you to time even 1 dungeon that you would fail its not wasted
problem is game atm is in this very wierd point - people are not geared yet so they cannot carry bad players in groups which leads to a lot of frustration . the vp upgrades are minimal so you cannot upgrade stuff you want.
it will all smooth out around 3-4 months mark once you will have abundance of 270 + people runing around boosting their badly geared budies.
but atm if you dont have organized guild group runing m+ yes its very rough. im experiencing it myself . stuck to +12 even though i was doing 17-20 last tier solely because i pug and dont have much time to pug so my mains score is like 800 atm which means i cannot get into groups to play with people who play on my level .
its ok though . thats the life of casual being progression curve . it has been always like this in wow . which is why so few people play wow
It’s only rough because a lot of the people have no clue what they’re doing and are trying to play way above what they should relative to their skill level.
YOu don’t need to explain to me
i know
that’s why i droped the ball this expansion cause every system is designed to hold you in certain position longer so it’s easier for blizzard to put something inside your … etc etc
The devs are doing wrong one thing there about how much you need to upgrade. It is like they missunderstood. I suggest you to change how much you upgrade from ilvl 236 to 272. You just cant upgrade 475 valor from ilvl 236 to 272 with same cost of valor and it should be cheaper because it starts ilvl 236.
Maybe, start with 50 valor from ilvl 236 to 239, 100 valor 239-242, 150 valor 242-246 and move on.
Making KSM account wide is a terrible idea for the games health. Sure it would benefit you all and your self.
But anyone who didn’t start when you did. Or arrived later and are catching up would fall out and off the game. You’d never join their keys below 11+ or 15+ again. And you would all out gear them way faster than they could keep up or catch up to you.
And they would never get into keys… They might as well unsub and wait for the next expansion to launch. And try again 4 years later
As if this doesn’t happend with Raider.io or Mythic score enough already. This would just make the gap even wider. And only benefit the tryhards who never shower. Who makes the cut at launch every patch release within the first two or three weeks.
So much this Save your valor to the items that needs it to the max. Don’t hastely spend them to get up your ilvl the fastest. I used to do this allot too.
Yeah I won’t. Also got super lucky with 265 wep from weekly event. Either way I’ll just stash it in my bank and upgrade later in the season in case I don’t get any weapon from vault. But my point still stands. Given the valor cap, some of the item slots costs way too much to upgrade.
Its been utter garbage in 9.1 with them bringing back the rating restriction for alts. My paladin alt ended up gearing at about the same pace as my main despite on doing it mid-patch when the valor cap was higher. Only way I could have done it faster would have been by playing it for a lot more per day than I did my main before that which is kinda ridiculous, unless a typical day jumps from being 24 hours long to maybe 30 at least.
