KSM + valor = increased boosting pressure; discuss

220 to 226 is literally no difference… mythic raiding is aids compared to getting a 207/210 and upgrading it to 220 specially for trinkets or socketed rings and neck… also raid drops have fixed stats… m+ gear fits your build.

226 item each week too makes mythic raiding obsolete tbh…

Funny thing about mythic raiders too they are poop at dynamic content like mythic+ you see plently of them have no clue what to do… they basically learn raid boss patterns and follow a strict rotation using cds and stuff at certain points… they havent got a clue what to do in dungeons

I mean in theory then any system which rewards better rewards for harder content encourages boosting.

And those 226 items form the 15 boots xD
I guess raiderio needs to add so we can see how many failed runs you have too, to easier see who is getting boosted and who has put in the effort improving.
ex: 2 players with 8 times 15 dungoens, one has 0 failed other has 20 failes at +15, also should show +10 failed/completed.

It shows, but most groups just disband if the key won’t be timed.

There is no casuals left in the game

We saw the explosion in PvP boosts when that was the only way to gear up for PvE.

Then why does he need the gear exactly ?

You can complete +4 in blues.

There’s little to no casual content in the near future, so getting upgrades is probably the only thing people play for.

Well then they better do a lot of high m+.

That or leave the game until 9.1.

Or as OP suggests, buy a boost.

Yes it will becouse it wouldnt be just weapon. It would be entire set. Which means you achieved only 1 thing. You invalidated content.

Also what would decrease amounth of boosting is removal of token. Not removal of KSM.

There is ton of casual content. But same casuals what complain about lack of content are aame casuals what want that content to be nonchallenging acessible faceroll. So no wonder you burn trought it in couple of days.

Yes… but KSM for valor is interesting because it is limited scope, then from there on the player can gear themselves.

Traditional boosting you have to keep getting them until your gear is done; but with this one, 8 boosts is enough.

I hit KSM about a week before Valor was introduced. I was ready to finish my sub, but I wanted to try the valor system out. No regrets at all.

Not only had the pressure to push keys gone (because I had hit KSM and well, what’s the point in going to keys above +15 when there’s no reward), but it was able to quickly fill a few gaps in my gear.

So having a little more reward, being better geared and no pressure to push actually made running keys ALOT more enjoyable. It was actually the first time this expansion that I REALLY enjoyed playing my class. (just to expand on that, before I enjoyed the Dungeons and difficulty, now I enjoy the class itself).

Now, I just run +14s/15s for the weekly vault. I don’t mind joining groups with less experienced players, as they tend to be less toxic (this is where rio helps, avoid those guys with high rio scores).

It also take the pressure of when running on my alts. I can run lower keys, but upgrade the vault item using valor.

Why do you care?

  • Some random players you don’t know, buy boosts from other random players you also don’t know.
  • The boosts are paid for with gold purchased with wow tokens.
  • The buyers willingly paid with their own money, their own will, and no one forced them to do it.
  • A player who doesn’t buy boosts doesn’t have to pay anything extra.
  • The game has a path for players to get KSM without buying boosts.
  • It’s a win-win-win situation for the boost buyer, the boost seller and Blizzard without negative effects on other players.

Are we assuming Hunter Joe is going to run 400x M+2 to get his entire set up to 220?

Because that’s a heck of a lot for a casual player.

No sane player is going to do an entire set of gear by valor alone, especially if they didn’t have the head start of the drops from the 8x15s they bought to get into the upgrade system.

I don’t think there’ll be enough valor unless 9.1 hits in December.

The fact that a system doesn’t discriminate against me personally doesn’t mean I can’t be of the opinion that it is unfit for purpose and encouraging bad behavioural patterns in others.

Boosting culture isn’t healthy for anyone, and now we have a game system that adds even more pressure to get boosted.

400 mythic+2 is doable absolutly fine. Specialy when 9.1 wont hit another 5 months.

But also account for the weekly valor cap, so there’s no point doing more than 5 dungeons/week for currency…

Takes around 80 weeks to get a 187 set to 220.
