It’s still available, the coastline in the east of Swamp of Sorrows is probably the place to go for it. I’m not sure if it still exists in the revamped Azshara, it doesn’t look like it based on wowhead’s data.
It’s also not as useless as you think 
, it’s part of the Oceanographer achievement.
