Launcher Login Query

Today, for the first time in a very long while, I was asked to login to my launcher.

As well as the username as password I was presented with a picture puzzle that I had to solve. I also wasn’t asked to authorise the login via the Authenticator App when I did complete the details needed.

I also logged to the Battle.net website shortly after and that gave me the same puzzle, but this time it made me use my Authenticator App.

I have never seen this process before on the Battle.net Launcher or the website and just want to know if I should be worried about this?

You meant like a captcha? This is rare but can occur.

Yeah. It was like one of those. Just had to select one image out of six that was the ‘correct way up’. Just felt odd as I’ve not seen it before in the eighteen years I’ve been playing WoW.
