Personally I think that they will adjust the number according to the last expansions maximum level for the Epic Loot-Filled Pumpkin and it will happen mid holiday, so we will lose some attempts at the Epic Pumpkin.
As it is itâs taking us from 50 (120) to 60 (140ish) so 110s (45ish) will lose the ability to get the Epic Pumpkin, thatâs the OPs worry.
Thank you Dottie you get it and MID event .
I already have them all but I see how someone without them would get worried. They will lose a lot, in my case it would be 20 or so attempts per day after the Shadowlands release, to get the mount and other stuff as I have 23-24 characters at 110 and above.
Edit: got the numbers wrong.
Thanks for reminding me that this will be my 12th year of trying to get that damn mount.
Itâs good, perfect time to take a week off.
Yes we do get your point OP : the characters which are currently between 110 and 120 will lose the chance to get the mount.
I do believe that for most people this will not be a problem at all.
You have 3 solutions. First is to level all your 110 chars to 120 before that. Second is to level them from 45 to 50 the day the expansion is released (granted this could prove impossible if you have many). Or third is to shrug it off.
But it would be nonsense to delay the expansion for the reason you are stating.
The level squish is happening with prepatch afaik so it should not be something that affects this event mid way through
Level to 45 or 59 will be quicker in pre patch. Simple.
The levels and looting will be brought down accordingly. I doubt Blizzard are that bad they would make such a glaring mistake (then againâŚit is BlizzardâŚ!).
I never appreciated the fact that SL is released next to Halloween though. That ties in quite nicely with the theme of deathâŚwhether it was intentional or a happy accident!
I think no matter what date they pick someone is going to find some fault.
I think it will be fine and any alts you take to events will get xp at least
I was about to post exactly this.
At launch, the level squish would already have taken place.
Maybe they tried to ease the servers on launch as well. If some people decide to go for the event instead of rushing to SL then it will help making the launch smoother?
