Let us go out from SL with a bang 💥

I think the quote would be more fitting, in this case. If it was:

WARNING. EXCESSIVE LEVELS OF FUN DETECTED.

I’d play retail more if we got back something similar to corruptions!

You are absolutely right, my OCD did force me to quote it with 100% accuracy!

But this is better :joy:

Corruption was a fun idea but the execution of the system was terrible imo! The RNG factor to get BiS corruption killed all the fun. And those who did get BiS corruption could one shot ppl and just wipe out the whole dungeon by them self! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah awful execution by blizzard, but the idea of gaining more power for bigger risk was very interesting and added more to the gameplay.
While BFA was lacking in many aspects 8.3 was a blast when you had your desired corruptions.

Well, I can agree about how you wanted to quote it exactly as it was. Sometimes when playing the game, the camera distance changes on its own, like zooming in or zooming out than the preferred distance that I normally play (zoomed out a little than normal, not but zoomed out to max distance), I’m not sure if it’s a bug or it’s intended, but it almost always happens if you enter a vehicle in the game, like Demolisher in BGs, and whenever that camera distance change happens, then I must set it back to exact same distance, before I focus back on playing.

This, I actually liked both the Corruption visual effects and their powers, but I would definitely say that I liked the visual effects of Corruptions more than their power effects, because it made my Void themed transmog(s) look even better. I would only hope that Blizzard adds some kind of Cosmetic item to bring back these Voidy visual effects of Corruptions, but with NO unnecessary Cooldowns, like the other Cosmetic items, except those that are annoying like the one that forces other players to dance or Swapblaster, they are annoying enough already.
At least their visual effects can be used when taking screenshots with Narcissus AddOn, which is nice, to be honest.

Could not agree more with your!
It was a cool idea indeed! I wish that the corruption vendor was implemented from day one and that it didn’t have a rotation.

I did get twilight devestation and infinity stars at rank 3 and holy moly I did crush the BG. It was to much fun. And those crazy mastery build for fire mages was insane

It did get me so mad to not be able to turn it off visually. Void on a paladin come on!

But I can absolutely see that it was cool on a void elf :woman_elf:

Meanwhile at Blizzard HQ:

“STOP THEM! THEY ARE SMILING AND HAVING FUN! NERF THEM!”

“But sir they are paying subs and playing again for longer periods of time”

“JUST NERF THEM NOW, DO IT!”

“Sir, we already nerfed survival and destro, it will be too much”

“OMG A DRUID IS PLAYING FERAL AND HAVING FUN, NERF THE CATS AGAIN!”

Bobby comes in

“Where the heck is my third yacht?”

Exactly, having said that. I would like if Void Elves could be Paladins.
Void Elf Paladins. It sounds really good when I write and read it in voice.
I would definitely start a Paladin alt character, in that case.

I know some people did not like the forced visual effect of Corruptions.
However, they could make it as toggle option, so people can decide for themselves to use it or not.

Haha :joy: when we did stop paying: ohh lord, ofc can we change the design! We admit that we did wrong.
Look at DF they are not doing those changes because they want us to have fun, they do them because ppl stopped paying them money :moneybag:

I do get both excited and upset at same times from this idea.

Well, I know it could be weird if all races could be all classes, and there would be no race/class diversity between them. Still, I would like Void Elf Paladins to be come a thing, if Blizzard decides to add more race/class combos in the future.

Im happy with the severe changes in development, with more communication, blue posts for each class once in a while, the things I have seen so far from Alpha and Beta and more things

I am still holding back the hype train, but I cant deny that its looking good so far with only Drachtyrs soar nerf being the only thing that makes me mildly annoyed, which is a big change since BFA and Shadowlands when you just saw the dumpster fire in the horizon

Indeed! I haven’t found one that I don’t like yet in DF but at the same time don’t i have very much information about the expansion either!
But I rather get a simple expansion then this flashy space junk that we have now!

There are so many things that make no sense in WoW universe so while we are at it, why not?
Class and race use to have a much more stringent purpose and lore before. Now is everything kinda mixed and mashed like Dr strange multiverse!

True, they added and made changes into the Lore over the years, to allow new race/class combos that are currently existing. When they added new race/class combos they made changes the Lore, so that would at least make sense and it explains how some races can choose classes that they could not before.

Of course, as developer of the game. It would be always nice to see Blizzard communicating with players and listening to majority of feedback, but feedback which is actually meaningful for game design, and do not make changes for things or add things that players do not like, like RNG in RNG etc. Though I would understand if there some players who like RNG, so that they don’t get a mount etc. on the first try and it could be boring, each to their own.

Although, I think time-gates are fine to some extent, because if all the content could be done on the release day, then majority (if not all) of the players would be done with the content on the release day with nothing to do until the next Patch/Expansion. To be fair, I would like a game developer to communicate in a way that is more related to game design, rather than blues posting in Forums every now and then.

However, according to some blue posts, apparently, they actually changed their minds to listen more carefully to the feedback and design the game according to these meaningful feedback. Still, it may be early to speak yet, but I hope Dragonflight will be a good Expansion.
