Only time I queue solo shuffle is if it’s tuesday evening and I want to cap a new healer alt.
It could literally be fixed tomorrow if they wanted to. There are tons of us that love playing healers for a decade, but stopped or only do it in regular arena and never shuffle.
- Aura to reduce damage done by all players by 15% in arena. This would stop the absurd one shots that happen which lower rated healers simply can’t handle, and most other healers find it unpleasant to play into. If this results in high rated lobbies reaching time limit - simple, turn it off in X MMR games. Adjust this value as the season progresses and more data is collected on TTK.
- Change to healer MMR and CR gain. Make 3-3 reward rating and MMR ALWAYS, and triple the current rating gains healers get. Will it make healer the ‘noob ez free rating role’? Yes - who cares? I want to play my DPS characters. I do not care if that means healing becomes the free rating role.
These two changes alone would see an enormous number of extra healers queueing, and thats before you even get into actual class balance, like toning down lawnmower specs like DH / arms / bm / dk / demo / outlaw or goofy one shot specs like sub. Would they fix all of the problems with the game? No. But they’re two changes that Blizzard could implement overnight and would get people to play.
As it stands right now, suggestion 1 is never addressed, and suggestion 2 is addressed 5-7 months into the season when most people have already got frustrated and quit. I generally don’t whine when Blizzard doesn’t immediately take my suggestion, but this is the exact same suggestions I had in S1 near the start and in S2 i even made a thread about it. Back then they did take one of my suggestions, and made the DPS passive trinket bonus 20% main stat instead of 25% main stat. But obviously more needs to be done.

I tried it multiple times i dont feel it and dont like so this is no option, blizzard can add Healbots or fix Healer MMR if they really care , 45 minutes ques are unacceptable
i dont know how achievements gained in 3v3 mode which contains bots as part of the regular gameplay from legitimate add from blizzard side would make it comparable to arena if they start adding bots in shuffles to patch these issues, i mean the mode gives people arena achievements so there needs to be atleast some integrity still with it or do we not agree?
might aswell next give elite for record that has no clear sign of from which mode it were gained for playing 10 rounds of skirmish or something like that if we start farming shuffles with half bots added by blizzard to help on ques

But yea those are pretty good ideas, it would surely get much more people queuing as healer. But while it would reduce queue times, I still think the queues would be too long. And that’s just because the support role is never as popular as the dps role, in any game really.
Well healers are sick for loosing points in 4-2/5-1 so most of us stop que”ing:))
Every single lobby I’ve been in except for one has had 1 DH, 1 UH DK and 1 Warr. The exception was one lobby with a ret instead of warr.

As someone who plays 4 healers, I refuse to queue for solo shuffle other than for the first win of the day to contribute to vault unlocks.
Solo is an absolute zug zug fest and extremely toxic, I’d rather just play with people I know.
You’re supposed to queue Blitz in between shuffles so you aren’t just standing around waiting.
Arena Skirmish has like 1-3 min queue 24/7

Just came out of a lobby like this, as SP.
It’s close to impossible to pull full casts out. Among the interrupts, stuns, disorients, micro stuns, incaps, silences, on top of them zug zugging targets smashing two buttons mindlessly.
I would PAY to watch Blizz devs playing SP in this enviroment, and I’d love to hear their thoughts about the absolute absurdity of melee disruption, oppressiveness, defensiveness and overall toolkit to disrupt, damage, and survive agains casters.
I swear this is cancer in digital form. I literally can’t play my character due to the amount of disruption melee are equipped with.
While they’re munching my face, DRing stuns, and taking half my hp with single hits, I spend whlole arenas fake casting, just to be able to put some miserable 3k hitting dots up, just to either have them dispelled or completely immuned by BS like AMS magic immunity, etc.
rss is cancer for casters except arcane mage .especially this patch is a nightmare.im happy destro got better armor again.Spriest must feel bad.
This season where to start…
First off all getting punished, in SS when somebody leaves. Why cant i just normally play the game without thinking about fundemantel stuff that is beyond my reach and in my hands.
