I’ve not had the pleasure yet, I guess I’ll get round to doing it at some point.
I’ve had my fill. I’m waiting for a nerf.
It MUST be incoming. I can’t imagine it otherwise.
Previously I had never either. But was then placed in a raid which already had 8 stacks. And we wiped. And wiped. And wiped.
It deserves a nerf. End of story.
Isn’t that what the Determination buff is all about?
Oh sorry, didnt know you worked for blizzard
Exactly my point. The buff doesn’t do enough for this particular fight.
It needs a nerf.
Cleared LFR Nzoth at 10 stacks after 2-3 tries on Wednesday. Impossible to do today in Thursday with alts. PPL need to learn tactics and it will require time… not gonna do it again this week.
I’m done with you and your stupid replies.
Your thread & your replies in a nutshell
Okay… What exactly do you want to nerf? The damage? The boss hp? I don’t think those are what’s keeping lfr groups from clearing it. The sanity mechanics are. So remove the sanity mechanic? That makes the encounter into literally a target dummy and doesn’t teach you anything about doing higher difficulties, which is one of the functions of lfr.
Some bosses are harder on lfr because they have unusual mechanics. That’s just something you will have to deal with because there’s no ‘fix’ or ‘nerf’ you can apply short of specifically designing fights around lfr and not harder difficulties, and I hope we all agree that wouldn’t be healthy for the game in the long run.
What are the groups failing on?
Not refilling sanity XD.
It’s doable, I’ve done it 2 times now and going in for a third. I’m getting the hang of this now.
Be happy there is something for us casuals with some effort involved. Because it is a complex fight and people need to learn. I hope it’s not nerfed, just been up for a few days…
So people decided that they will not spare any time to learn the mechanics, so now they are failing and Blizzard must do something about that? People will have more than 4 months to learn it. Give it time.
I’m glad they’re making a distinction between hilariously easy and aimed at casuals. They’ve been doing that a lot lately.
I don’t expect LFR players to play like normal, let alone mythic, raiders. But they should have a little pushback, too. Everyone should. It’s a video game.
And I really couldn’t care less about Tahra’s opinion on this subject. Nothing is easy enough to satisfy her because she has no patience. The fight came out yesterday and she wiped for like half an hour and now she’s going nuts on the forums.
Come on…
It’s the op thinking that, most players in the groups I’ve been in have been intent to finish, so far. Both have managed in the end. Wiping 10 times on a new boss is nothing imho.
Tahra, you just has to wait a few weeks until ppl have learned the fight. Crying for nerf already makes me think you’re really not serious…
To be honest, it’s not the first time a boss has been difficult in LFR. I remember at the very least garrosh and archimonde being quite demanding, and they usually took multiple tries as well. On top of that, N’zoth isn’t a particularly challenging fight. LFR skitra was/is probably more difficult, at least when it came out, not sure if they fixed the illusion dmg on LFR yet.
I have plenty of things in the game that require effort.
However, I don’t like wiping again and again on content I don’t enjoy in the first place. I just want to get it over and done with. And I can’t because I have to rely on X number of other players to do it correctly. I’ve been one of the last standing players on every single attempt. I know what to do. They don’t. It’s not working on LFR. It’s irritating as all hell.
That shouldn’t be an LFR thing imo!
Well, I do.
Skitra is no problem now. There is always someone that can explain the fight. Not pulling half the room outside and wiping there is a bigger problem.
I literally oneshot that on the day of release.
Of course I didn’t do it again, because I have zero desire to run that unfun raid again. I just want to see it once and be done.
Man, I want them to release a storymode raid. Badly.
Play single player games if you cannot handle this phenomenon.
