Nah, it makes it quicker. It wasn’t hard on my druid either and it had the same challenge as my mage and it had pretty much heroic dungeon level gear as well at the point I did it.

The fire mage encounter was a bit of a struggle right as it released on my mage. Once it came around again i had the right legendary and slightly more gear. While it didn’t make it trivial then it was a whole lot easier at that point.
Didn’t bother with the arcane or frost ones until fairly late and a lot of my failures could be contributed to me just not having played the specs for a while since i was more than geared to breeze through them.
No, the mechanics remained exactly the same with gear.
Nothing about them was challenging due to gear.
At the very least gear gives you more HP to take damage. Don’t be such a numpty.

Eh, having the right legendary as fire allowed you to more or less not care about certain mechanics in the fight which otherwise would be soft damage checks.
Not to mention how killing things faster in general leaves less of a chance of messing up on mechanics.
For my rogue? Nah, they didn’t do enough damage to kill you in the first place as a rogue with the legendary pants. You just spammed feint and you were immortal.
My druid had enough self-healing to not have to worry about the damage.
So the gear made it easier?

Having a legendary isn’t “gear”.
My rogue was beating it with ease compared to people who actually outgeared it.
We saw the same deal at the start of SL with people who were severely outgearing torghast and struggling to beat it.

People who were 940 ilvl were struggling to beat it, meanwhile I walk in on my rogue in pretty much what amounts to heroic dungeon gear and legendary pants and beat it without it even being a possibility to die.
To say my rogue beat it due to gear, when they can’t beat it despite having far better gear, is just laughable.
It’s the exact same thing that played out at the start of SL with torghast. Gear isn’t what mattered.

The mage tower was only challenging if you are like the people who thought torghast was impossible at the start of the expansion even though they were outgearing it by miles.

Everyone deserve things for only what they can get; ı for example actually get extremely sad and nostalgic for caravan brutasaur mount’s removal. I even made a post about it being it tied to 1 year sub reward to get it after it’s removal; whole community bashed or mocked me for saying so. Also it was a kind of ‘‘GOld farm zealotry’’ in game during that time.
But i wasnt ‘‘hardworking’’ or ‘‘rich’’ enough to get it; so i gave up and accepted the harsh truth that i wont have it. It was the only mount i cared and wanted for in whole BFA. ı suggest you get over your envy over others and play more passionately.
It was like this; since; forever? Why would they change that? Life is short; and people kind of love success peaks. There are dozens of unobtainable items in game that people showcase or flex over each other. It is like antique shop goods. Even though account selling is illegal; people put sentimental personal value on time limited things in game.

i saw it on ah once ; looked at price ; was calculating my budget and options that if i can afford it at ; it was at 9.999.999 gold cap. You cant outbid it more than that. And this happened within ‘‘minutes’’.
The problem of caravan brutasaur is not only ; ‘‘time limit’’ but also ‘’ 1 person limited’’ now.
People are just like waiting in line to get it ; i would rather prefer it being added to store ; maybe as a different color than compete with dozens of black ah gold lords lol.
