I finally managed to get over my addiction to suggestive Murloc calendars and replaced such with an addon called CrossRP (Cross Faction talking capabilities in RP) but since 8.1 it has been broken beyond patching and really taken a blow to the RP community.
Any chance you could perhaps reverse such to allow the CrossRP addon viable again or perhaps implement Cross Faction Communication on RP realms such as making common a universal tongue as it is in lore?

Why was the functionality crossRP disabled? Just because its war doesn’t mean suddenly people can’t talk, especially when multiple races and classes can circumvent the language barrier already. What about all the neutral factions? What if we don’t want to RP our characters taking part in the war?
We RP to make our own stories in the boundaries of lore, the language barrier does not exist in lore and u don’t want to RP what you tell me to.
RP us the only reason I’ve subbed for 6 years straight but I’m going to let it expire for the first time because of this change. This add-on revitalised RP for me and many others. I want to sign treaties, bargain for prisoners, or cooperate with druids or crusaders. Hard to do that with BURKEKBURKEK.

Crossfaction RP.
I am sure it was an unforseen or simply a casualty in fixing that addons were causing trouble with communities, but we’d really like it back.
The RP community, as small as we may be compared to the rest, would really appreciate it. We’d stop whining about it!

Despite it being already mentioned a lot of times, i am going to ask the same question as well: Will there be any possibility for cross-rp to be brought back to life? The 8.1 has literally swept away a really big part of fun expierenced by many roleplayers. This gesture is just nothing more than showing a middle finger to us.
And please, don’t excuse yourself with something like “Because you’re at war!” If so, then at least be consistent and remove thalassian, pandaren and demonic. Also change all opposite faction npcs’ quotes to be an equivalent of “ZUG ZUG KEK” in their languages. Afterall they’re at war. Why would they communicate?

How come some PVP talents which were the bread and butter of alot of specs got nerfed or simply removed from the game, without any reasonable amount of beta/public testing. Despite how crucial they are for the class to function due to lack of any decent choice to begin with.
If a dead line or a date can be given, when will we see the goblin and worgen models play testable on the P.T.R?

how come the exalted status for 7th legion/honorbound on your account unlocks allied races but not the opposite faction war campaign? you grind for one faction but when you play the other faction story you’re interrupted by character specific rep.

What instigated the change of player character model’s doing a fast walking animation now instead of slow running for things such as being dazed, concussive shot etc.
How come the exception for the rep changes only applied to tabards and not items/cosmetics which are just as pleasent/have the same incentive as a tabard would have.
Feel a bit wronged here having the shado-pan tabard but not being able to mog the helmet.

How long until Arcane becomes an actual decent spec, instead of just 3 button rotation

Hello,
like many others above, my question is about Cross-RP and the communication in general. This wonderful add-on have been a boon for our community since it’s implementation, giving to many roleplayers the desire to stay in this game and play the story. Alas, the patch 8.1 have disabled it for good and I frankly would like an answer about that.
Even better, I would like for it to be repaired please.

Why was the PTR consecration animation reverted? This happened in beta as well with a new recklessness animation.
These are amazing animations. Why are you so reluctant to put them out and not just add a glyph to replace it with the old one for nostalgic players?
Hello. Many, many, many posters above me have made mention of 8.1 breaking the popular CrossRP addon that allowed players of the opposite faction to communicate with each other. As an avid roleplayer I really enjoyed how this was put to effective use during a recent roleplaying campaign, and has done so much to invigorate roleplaying across the community.
Please could this addon be resurrected for the good of the roleplaying community? It seems a bit unfair that our personal stories aren’t allowed to transcend the faction divide while NPCs of opposite factions are welcome to goad and chat with each other freely.
(Also please lower the cooldown on toys that change your shape - the blanket 30min - 1hr cooldown for 5-10 toys feels baffling).

What happened to the Zandalari Warlocks?
I’ve been hyped for this for a year now, and suddenly I can’t be a Zandalock…
Saying that the Zandalari have no connection to fel magic doesn’t really make sence when you have Demoniacs in the lore and a Zandalari warlock npc in the game. How does monk fit them then? Also hexers and witchdoctors fit Affliction really well with shadow magic.

A while back you said 8.1 would be adding new ways to obtain vicious saddles as BfA removed the ability to do so. The patch notes don’t mention anything about it. Could you shed some light on how we can obtain the old vicious mounts now?
Are the 2 new talents and some number tweaking the whole extent of the “Elemental” rework, or can we expect something more? Like having talents more in line with each other for example.
Why do you keep adding mounts that are cool & unique to the Store instead of adding them as rewards for doing Content in the game. The mounts don’t feel prestigious at all and lose all their “cool” value, because they are store mounts. it feels like a serious slap in the face to the player base…
Doubt they’ll take this question
Why is the game centered around RNG? And why have you traded fulfillment for excitement?
Also, merge the EU AND US FORUMS

In Warlords of Draenor, you took mounts that were originally intended to be earned in game - the grinning reaver and rylak mounts - and put them on the real money store instead (I know you can’t admit that, but it’s fine). With the vulpine familiar, you’re now essentially doing the same in Battle for Azeroth.
Given the above, what did the team learn from WoD, and with the lessons learned there, how do they believe that the same actions will deliver different results for BfA?
Why does content get harder the better gear i get? Now @ 380 ilvl i can pull less and kill world content slower than I did 10ilvl ago
