Thekal was also locked for 6 months.

Its not absurd its been done in every case or over capacity has queues existed before? Yes. However this was because all tbe samn seevers had queues lol.
This is a case where 1 specific servers being targetted. Queies arent needed, this isnt the only server. And theres no reason to litterally murder tbe populations on other realms.
Living flame, needs to stay locked for the sake of other realms, you cant allow Fomo sheep oblterate the experience of thousands.

But pretending locking a server at capacitt, isnt done, companies have entire departments dedicated to doing this. When a server becomes over capacity server stability drops which affects everyone.
I aint saying “dont unlock the server”. But unlocking it just before p2 is absurd. If they were gonna unlock they needed to have done it a month ago…
It will ruin anyone who ends up forced to move to LF, the queues will occur at the at the largest spike and it will absolutely ruin the launch of p2.
It will be damaging to the games longevity to do such a thing, to absolutely ruin a entire launch would be the absurd thing to do in reality.

eh P2 is still at least a month away. Just unlock it for a while, see how it goes. If it’s too populated when P2 is around the corner just lock it again for a few days. No problem and everyone is happy.
So let the server go over capacity. Then lock it? Ur aware ur locks only relevent if it keeps them out right?
How about do what normal do, and unlock when capacity drops. P2 will drop the statistics of returning players, which will weigh how mucj of the existing playerbase it can hold.
Also rerolling after p2 drops is gar less likely for those on their servers due to hiking a mountain behind everyone.
Its tbe most solid option, to not butcher other realms populations and retaining the stability
Unlocking during the tail end of a locked era, means players have 0 to lose rerolling right now,
or just unlock it now so we can play phase 1 with our buddies and let the chips fall where they may. Let the players sort it out.
Most of us dont really care about queues and the ones who do will not come to living flame. So it really isn’t an issue in any way what so ever 
You mean test whats failed 1000 times. Players dont sort things out, they cause problems and demand solutions. Yet every solution is somehow unacceptable.
Its about time devs stepped in to stop players from their own habits. The noise around the locks are absolutely minimal compared to uproar tje queues caused.
We all have people locked out, my brothers on another server, we simply accept it. No fix is gonna be perfect for everyone, people will get burnt. But upholding server stability is importabt.

and now there are no queues anymore so no reason to lock anything. SoD hype has died down a bit. people are back at work etc etc.
Unlocking LF wont cause any queues, get a grip.
The reason theres no queues is because its locked. Lol. It doesnt change the fact the servers at capacity. And has hsd its capacity quadrupled to uphold the numbers it has at hand. Which they announc3d regarding tech upgrades.

Many many players didnt book time off for SoD. People “out of routine” was never why its locked.
The fact everyone came to the agreement to flood 1 specific server is the reason.
Its locked to prevent a mega server. Blizzard have statistics, they know the numbers, trting to BS your wau through a argument wont fly.
Maybe living flame will open, maybe it wont. Flogging a dead horse on a dead forum isnt gonna affect it either way, if blizzard was gonna cave to player pressure theyd of done it a long time ago.

that never happened. It was just random. There was like 4 servers in the list when SoD launched. People chose one and got in queue asap and started playing thats all…
Queues have equalized now, they can unlock the server and it will never have queues. Maybe there will be queue for the first 2-3 days of P2 release. But that will be the case on every server, bud.
No reason to keep LF locked any longer and deny friends from playing together in an MMO.

Servers were discussed at mass through content creators, their audiences, the discord that opened a month before SoDs actual launch.
Wvery launch, one server is the community choice.

Living flame, is the streamer server, its labelled as such because the EU streamers announce the realm theyre deciding on! You fool.

nobody knew the server list untill SoD launched. NOBODY knew names of anything because blizzard didn’t announce servers prior to launch.
Launch happened, everyone scrambled to decide on a server. We gathered 60 people in discord for the launch moment so we could all quickly aggree on a server and get in queue. That’s the extend of planning and agreement anyone had.
same thing happened to all the big streamers as well. It doesn’t run any deeper than that.
LF is not some mega server or meta server or any of this absurd nonsense. It just happened to gain more players than the 2 other servers that were up at the time of launch and that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
But lik I said, queues have died out now, SoD hype has calmed down. People have gone back to their normal lives. And no queues are no longer an issue at all.
there is no reason to keep Living flame unlocked. So I suggest to just unlock it so we can play with our friends

Ur right they werent, but SoD had discords for discussion they just werent labelled. People still were among agtrement of bundling 1 server
It ignores the fact we got server names earlier then NA because their pre laujch info launched for their release which is esrlier then ours and server names were mimiced.
