I do not want to gear a warrior. I want to gear a hunter. Thats what my mythic raiding guild needs.
But what my guild needs, for raiding meta. Does not allign with what M+ want.
Im trying to gear a Dark Ranger BM hunter, who relies on crit/haste. Not like one can easy respec for another spec for M+ due to totaly different stats.
No one ownes me anything. I can pull my own weight, as ive played this game for 20 years. But people do not know this. They just assume im the average BM hunter who sucks terrible. And has terrible dps. And declines. Something i would have done too if i was the group leader. Due to how strict i have to be on requirements, due to how punishing failing a key is. I have to be super picky when making a group.
And i understand it. Most BM hunters i see are god awefull. But, not everyone is.
But i have a ret pala at similar ilvl as my hunter. My ret pala does flat out 300k more dps in an M+. Where my BM hunter shines is on single target. But single target dmg not really important untill you hit the higher keys.
Ive always been a person hating asking for help. Ever since i was a child ive been wanting to do stuff myself. And refusing help.
Its made me a jack of all trades. Where i can fix pretty much anything.
And im not gonna steal someones time to âboostâ me. Im not that egoistic. Sure if they need crests as well. Sure we can farm together. But im not getting boosted. Im not a time thief.
Stop this. If they did theyâd help you get gear. But suddenly they all do their own thing, donât have time, and what not. That doesnât compute. So youâre either just a social there, or theyâre quite toxic for some reason. Either way, find another guild.
Mythic raiding guilds should zerg through the content like a warm knife running through butterâŚprob can squeeze 3 10s within an hour if they wanted including transportation. You canât tell me that there arenât 4 capable players available at any given point to help gear a character for a role they actually needâŚthey had 4 teams after all, right?
They do not âneedâ me. I want to raid. And im trying to fill a role my guild needs, so i can raid. Its that simple, if they needed healer. Id go on my resto shaman. But they do not need that so⌠Here i am trying to gear up an BM hunter so i can join mythic raiding. Instead of just doing social heroic raiding, which is of little challenge anymore.
They can simply pick from someone who is already geared. Tons of people who are geared and can do what they are supposed to.
I started 3 weeks late in this expansion, and ive struggled on my non meta M+ chars to catch up. I just want to play the game and enjoy it. Kinda why i pay blizzard.
Is that really to much to ask. I do not want or should need other people to baby me.
I should be able to catch up and gear up on my own. Without being a time thief.
As stated above, any mythic raiding guild that NEEDS you as a hunter, will also help you gear that character.
No, from my experience 90% of the hunters at 2.7+ are pretty decent. Bonus points if they can play survival cause that spec is blasting in m+. Any hunter with a similar score can easily get inside my groups as long as I do not have better choices in the queue.
You are contradicting yourself. You are claiming that you are better than most other hunters that are âterribleâ, but then you are saying that you do not want help from others and for them to âboostâ you.
With your logic you should have no problem asking other players to play with you, since you will be able to provide them with a much better experience than pugging.
Here lies the problem. You are paying blizzard to play an MMORPG, a social game, where the end game PVE is based around group content.
You do not need babysitting, but you are trying to play dps in a world full of dps, and your progression (rio) being the only thing pugs can judge you by. Either you can find players that enjoy playing with you, get help from your guild, or spend WAY more time by running your own keys each day in order to raise your score.
I agree, its borderline. Slowly been getting my gear up by doing Council and Queen HC each week. So think i probably will do 10 on hunter soon. Specially since i got BIS weapon on saturday.
But its taken so long, so much effort on my hunter. Just cause hes a BM hunter. It feels unfair.
Cause ive spent 1000% more time in queue as BM hunter than my shaman/ret pally/DK (The classes i currently do M+ on)
This thread just sums up the community, âre-roll and stop complainingâ. Make friends and stop complaining. Just do more DPS/HPS. Stop trying to push further, maybe you just reached your limit?
Every thread has replies from Dejarous who just replies with the same stuff all the time. Honestly, donât come to the forums if you want to give any opinion other than everything is great.
For some people the game is completely in-balanced and a lot of the changes they have made has made M+ worse. We have gone back a lot from DF if you ask me. But Iâll probably get steam rolled for that opinion. People are investing a lot of time and energy into the game and they want something back / not to be blocked by the fact they have to change class/spec every 10 seconds.

Nor does he seem to understand that online games have an pretty high amount of socially awkward people playing them. While the normal people are at work, the ones with social anxiety plays WoW. While they might press their buttons just like everyone else, the social aspect is not something they thrive in. They probably want to play the game too without having a panic attack from forcing them self to do stuff they are not comfy with.

actually playing your own key doesnt work so well this season anymore i found.
i always played my own key in df but this time aeound on my alts it seem to be hard to get people. probably the fact that i dont want to start at +3 but open groups pretty much immediately at +7 with 0 rio.
worked in DF though, still works now but takes significantly longer
I actually do kind of agree, it is one way you can guarantee yourself into a key. The only issue I have is, getting a good group for a 12 is hard so you often deplete and then would have to run a homework key again. I really like the idea of charges like people keeping saying.

Bruh its a game not a full time job and this season if you play as dps and god forbid non-meta class you will be waiting at least 45 min to form a group for your key
