Had the same, log into another WoW account/subscription (like a trial) under your battle.net.
Log out (not exit) and then log into your main account with credentials from battle.net (mail & pass), it will show you your main subscription again in a menu.
Logging in from the .exe did not work, wont recognise the authenticator, doing it the long way round does work.

  • in the battle.net friends bit in the app it says connected to americanas

same here! there was a small update earlier and it says Pre-Release Content Downloaded… and ever since i can’t play my EU realms account

Finally made it work, like many of you I could not connect to my EU account, and manually running wow.exe it would still send me to US starter ed.

  • kill battle net
  • kill battle agent (ctrl + alt + delete)
  • browse to … \BattleNet\World of Warcraft_retail_\WTF
  • open Config.wtf
  • search (ctrl + F) for “portal” adapted the value to “EU” (it was on US for me)
  • back on :\BattleNet\World of Warcraft_retail_\ opened wow.exe

after that it worked

Same issue here,after 35mins of trying ,reinstalling etc,i decided to log directly from wow.exe,which is the only way

Try logging in with another sub, like a trial, log out and then log in with your battle net credentials, that worked for me

Same issue here, some days ago i had a bunch of numbers before the WoW1 (EU) and now its just gone entirely
