As someone posted above, if you put the following at the bottom of you config.wtf file it will force the server select screen to appear:
SET disableAutoRealmSelect “1”
Just remember to remove it later when things are fixed

Cannot login plz help (Silvermoon eu).
Team is solving it. Just takes time now…
i keep trying to log in for a few min. now and i keep getting stuck in the logging in to game server.
Yep. Cant log in as well. Wonder if blizzard forgot to feed the poor hamster that powers the servers.

yep. they are aware of it.
was in the Tomb of Sargeras on my dk got some kind of error when i wanted to leave lfr party, left party, got left in there then a 5 sec. doungeon port came up when cd was done i got dc, and couldn t log on it again then went on my mage for a few min doing legion order hall campains and after some blinks that was the end of being logged in. file:///C:/Users/johns/Pictures/Screenshots/Screenshot%202024-08-14%20122420.png

As of today (14.08.2024) I noticed some issues which seem to touch many players.
Hoping to bring it to Blizzard’s attention.
Looting issue - when looting a mob, the lot cannot be gathered and the game goes into “lag” mode - can move and see others but can’t cast abilities.
/reload helps but not always - sometimes the game would crash after loading screen. Then upon loging there is an “unable to login” error. This needs the battlenet restart.
After bnet restart everything works normally for a while. Several lootings and minutes and the issue comes back.
This does not happen everytime. A few looting attempts work, then it breaks.
Noticed the same thing while buying anything on AH
Same for retail & Pandaria remix.
As I spoke to people, it seems to be a wide issue. Not happening to all but still to many people on different servers.

Blizz is already aware of the problem as stated in a different Thread regarding Server issues.
Blizz posted this on X/twitter: We are aware of an issue affecting some of the European World of #Warcraft realms, which may result in slow or failed login attempts. We are currently investigating the cause and will provide updates as they are available.
Don’t forget to give us all the reputations we missed back, reputations are bugged for 3 weeks now.

This is not working for me
How is the server not listed as down yet? Please update the realm status page, so it is easier to know when the server is back up.

OMG, I checked the server status, and it’s ok so I wiped everything to fix my problem and its not my problem.
