I just meant that since most missions are 325-350 gold, sending out 3 at a time averages about 1000g.
Odd… mine usually do quite well.
I mean yes, but… again, 5 alts (plus main once I get the new table up to scratch), averaging 2-4 material missions per day is 12-24 resource bags daily. It’s the compound effect that makes it worthwhile. One table isn’t worth the effort, but if you have the characters anyway, it’s very little maintenance time and it fills your reagent bank with everything you need forever
I should say; I don’t actually try to survive on WoW tokens. I’d rather have some gold backed up for the next 5m mount. At least I’m over half way towards it. I’ve made a solid 2.2m since SL started, so… I guess that’s only 7 months of tokens. But it took ages to bring my alt army online. I firmly believe it’s possible to pull 300-350k per month out of these guys, especially if I start selling the armour kits, feasts and potions that I have mats to craft but don’t really need…
Mostly though I kind of slack. They’re making some profit on top of my raiding and dungeons. I don’t really push my followers as hard as I could, and some times just can’t be bothered
Ohh, I thought about this and I think I know the difference; I’m including XP token missions where gold is the reward, and any that are 25 anima for gold+stygia or similar. Anima is so plentiful on a main character it can be mailed over - and even on an alt, if all your covenant facilities are tier 3, they’ll be self sufficient even with these big 50s.
So what I see is 4x regular gold (2 every 2 hours, average) + 2-4x some other mission that also returns gold.
well if you have enchanting with plenty of materials to spare(shadowlands dusts/crystal etc)
there are players who might not have that profession and will buy enchants off AH
can also try those specific table missions that reward runes get few stacks of 20 rune
or ones that have a bag of fish can also sell decent but it has to be more than 10
Yeah, I’m including XP missions with up to 50 Anima in cost for gold plus something. There is a very occasional 150 Anima one that I don’t, but it’s rare enough not to be a thing. From memory, that’s typically what makes it up to 3 a day.
I mostly do the 150s too… my main had 43k anima before I blew 20k on follower boosts, and my first alt has 26k… anima is so plentiful it’s not the bottleneck.
Which is nice! I’m not a fan of resource bottlenecks. I like time bottlenecks
But including those I’d be disappointed in less than 4 gold missions/day, and would generally expect 5-6. Again though, lots of alts all being table slaves; it’s probably averaging out the experience. One of them gets 6, one of them gets none, I don’t really notice. What I do notice is that every thursday I send alt gold and herbs to main, and my total balance keeps going up despite needing raid consumables. I even donate several shadestones to the guild bank every week, that’s probably 7k/week I’m giving away
Idrk how many table slaves you need to pay for a sub, but 5 is more than enough to cover a raiding main and dungeons, with significant profit. I feel like I pull in about 50k per week without really trying very hard and skipping some days. Might start tracking it and prove it one way or another
