wow they gave us a title imagine!
liars, titles ain’t out
it is, I had to relog to get it
finally go the title
Do you guys know if having exactly 3120 score, it’s enough for the title ?
The blue post says, at least 3120.
I just logged in and got the title guys.
think you needed 3120.6
All my friends and teammates i did keys with got the title but i did not. I am above the cutoff and did not abuse any buff. How can i contact someone that can help me fix this issue?
I personally managed to reach 3321 score in S4 bringing me to the position of world 11 in my spec.
I did use the buff for 2 or 3 dungeons unknowingly, because apparently at that time it started spreading through the high end m+ community, but literally the following day, me and my team decided to not use this buff anymore, acknowledging that it is a potential game abuse and so, despite all others in our bracket using it, we did not (anymore).
Yes, we managed to do the world 1st Upper Karazhan run using that buff at the time, but we had ensured our position for the title way before that (before those couple times and prior to anyone even being aware of its presence).
Yet, half of our team did not get the title, the other half of us did. It’s a weird punishment honestly, and I can’t easily explain it.
I could probably understand the ban applying to players consistently abusing it and actually managing to get the title ONLY thanks to solely runs with the buff, but punishing players that had ensured their position beyond the cutoff without runs involving the buff is just a little bit silly. I am quite certain that most (if not everyone) agrees with this stance. I have quite a few friends on 3.3k+ score that lost the title only because they used that silly buff over the last week of the season, which really doesn’t make sense to me to be honest.
You can be the judges on this, but actually not distributing the title on realistic criteria and banning half of the players in the top m+ brackets just undervalues the significance of the title. Personally, I don’t really care much about it (after all, raider io shows the actual rankings in reality), but if you are trying to achieve something with your m+ reward system (part of which is the award of this title), maybe you should consider the essence behind this title and what it’s meant to represent.

I’m in the same boat, every member of my team got it except me and I dod not abuse the buff lol
So in the aftermath of this whole ordeal with titles going out, i’ve noticed a common trend. A lot of people that used the buff got title, even ones that abused it for several score dungeons (Even people that abused several other exploits ontop of the 5 % str. buff, such as 10 % stamina food and heart of azeroth exploit)
I’m not afraid to admit, that i used the buff. I did not use it to get into title range, i’ve been there since week 3 of the patch, I used it to see what it was all about at the end of the season, simply because everyone else was. This obviously does not excuse myself, i exploited and exploits should be punished, but if you are going to punish exploiters on a large scale, you punish EVERYONE that used it.
Personally, I do not even care about the title, for me it’s a matter of principle. The exploit was common knowledge. Either Blizzard knew about it and did nothing, or they’re literally living under a rock, unbeknownst of what is even going on in their own game. The exploit was being used for almost 2 weeks, and nothing was done. This obviously puts people in a position where either you a) Use the same advantage as the people you’re competing with to stay competative, which to me is the obvious answer, seeing as 5+ days passed and NOTHING was done from blizzards side. or b) You accept defeat and don’t use the exploit.
It honestly blows my mind that an exploit like this can stay in the game for as long as it did, when the fix is as simple as it is - make the quest unsharable - but when Sha of Anger is bugged, it is fixed within hours and is even made a feature.
I suggest that if you want to punish exploits in the future, you punish ALL exploits, not just the ones that become common knowledge. I also suggest that you actually bother with investigating before punishing players, seeing as a vast majority of players that basically did nothing (Myself included, I timed 1 key with the buff just to see what it was about) got disqualified, meanwhile players that have exploited not only the 5 % buff, but also multiple other buffs, still managed to get rewarded with the title somehow. Lastly, i suggest that if you’re going to punish exploits used in m+, you don’t just remove title off of people that used the exploit, you revert the keys in which the exploit was used and revoke the IO gained, which you have already proven you can do, in the aftermath of the torghast exploits used earlier this season. This way, people that actually earned the title fair and square, still gets it.
Absolutely ridiculous, what a sh*tshow.
Can confirm. got my title. was about god damn time Blizzard.
All my friends and teammates i did keys with got the title but I did not. I am way above the cutoff. Any fix to this issue?
If some players were disqualified, why did the score threshold stay the same? This is ridiculous.
Bump. Would appreciate a blue post regarding the matter.
I know some people who didn’t get their title and yet didn’t “cheat”, but are unaware of this post so I’m posting on their behalf. Are we going to get any clarifications on this matter?
Title is just an RNG reward at this point, players can get randomly disqualified or not. Pretty sad that you disqualify players when you can’t even detect who cheated properly, very poor handling and radio silence for days. As to why the threshold remained the same is because they know majority that got disqualified didn’t cheat and/or wouldn’t change a thing if they did … Every streamer that got disqualified had over 3.2k+ rio at the start of the “cheating”, a small streamer that had abused the quest for a while has the title somehow and players that didn’t abuse anything have been disqualified as well… pure RNG, at least admit that you don’t have the data to look up who actually cheated. Title has lost its meaning with this move unless it’s given to everyone. I’d be surprised if even 10 players have cheated their way into the title that would otherwise not be able to get it without it. I also wonder how many players that got wrongly disqualified will continue pushing keys, I will most likely continue but will others accept this mistreatment?
Seems like we still didn’t get a reply. Also, apparently, they’re not replying to tickets anymore. Is there any way we can appeal to this?
I just received a GM response
I see you contacted us about not receiving the Shrouded Hero Season 4 achievement and title. I can understand your disappointment there. We have awarded these, however a problem occurred that prevented some people from receiving them. The development team are currently working to fix that problem, and afterwards everyone else who should have received the rewards should get them then.
So basically wait and see…
