WoW is being made for people who can play a maximum of 2 hours per week. That way they can still make it to 80 and have the storyline completed by the time m+ and raids launch. This is to make sure that these people dont feel behind even though they will never interact with either of those systems. Meanwhile - for the rest of us - we get to enjoy some more timegating that the white knights on this forum seem to absolutely love.
Not only are you wrong. You also managed to make a post that is so incoherent it turns around and becomes semi coherent yet again.
look again i dont made this Topic
I LOVE how they have done with the launch. You can chill, level professions and gear, alts…no hurry for something you are anyways done with in 2 weeks. Why are you so in hurry?
Nope . Blizzard is waiting till i will get back from my vacation in Turkey getting smahed on tequila sunries on the beach of meditarenian sea is amazing
They timed it pwefectly for me
Noone said you made the topic?
If you can only play 2 hours per week you’ll be left so far behind on week 3 you won’t even see our backs with a telescope. So it makes zero difference when the “being left behind” happens.
Thats exactly my point. Timegating doesnt help anyone. The people who “like” timegating arent going to interact with any of the systems that doesnt release until the 11th anyway
As a working man 8-17:00 i have 4 character lvl 80 3 of them 382 ish ilvl)))))
I thought M0 was coming out on Wednesday, This is so dumb.
It certainly does help me though ?
Damn that’s so low though for hc dungeons you need 551+
382 means you have loads to farm
In a little over a week, there’s going to be posts that they’re done with Season 1’s first week content and that there’s nothing to do.
To quote the pandaren:
“Slow down.”
That ilvl was low in DF’s season 1 even (LFR level).
But that’s on the developers.
Blizzard evidently don’t want WoW to be driven by character progression in terms of power. I.e. no Artifact Power, Heart of Azeroth, Soulbinds, or otherwise.
Okay, but then something has to take that place – which would be content.
If you don’t want players to farm the existing content a million times for more character power, then you have to provide ample amounts of content so there’s always something new to chop through.
But if Blizzard also don’t provide an abundance of content, then of course they’re going to get criticized for releasing a game where there’s little to do.
They DO want that, but they want you to do it bit by bit, timegated. And that’s mostly due to the complainers about ‘mandatory grinds’, which ruined a lot of what I actually liked.
I enjoyed grinding for power, but the system that you’re grinding it for has to be fun as well. Legion, imo, did it right. The artifact weapons were fun and interesting. BfA didn’t do it right. HoA and Azerite gear wasn’t interesting to me and so I felt a lot less compelled to grind it.
But in classic Blizzard fashion, they just axed ALL of borrowed power. Instead of making it fun and worthwhile.
I’ve sort of gotten used to not having a lot to do in WoW. It’s been that way for a while (being a predominantly world content and solo player). But in Legion, BfA and Shadowlands at least I COULD grind and grind and grind IF I wanted to.
In DF that option seized to exist; I could sort of grind renown but that’s just not the same since most of that was about cosmetic stuff. I especially disliked what they did to WQs in DF at launch - thankfully they changed it a little bit fairly quickly.
At least they seem to have learned from that because TWW has more daily WQs again. Not a whole lot still, but it’s a bit better.
Anyway: Long story short: There not being content to grind is the players fault; those that complained anyway. Now we’re suffering the consequences.
Nothing is coming out until 10 sep for normal/hc raid and m0s then m+ and mythic raid at 17 sep
Perfect to give me more time leveling all my main classes; not enough to do it for all alts too, sadly, but better than nothing…
Not enough? takes 2-3 hours to get 80
How? Doing the full campaign with the main + sojourner in the bug zone was barely enough to get me to max lvl with the first char and took two evenings and a full day of questing; now with the 2nd char I’ve done sojourner of the first zone and the second, though I apparently need the campaign of the 2nd zone to do the last sojourner quests… took me again two days… with some breaks, sure, but all in all I find leveling quite time consuming in TWW; DF and even SL was way quicker. XP from quests barely increaseas from 70 to 79.
