Yea i mean there is no point in removing some things they could have done like the vicious mounts like they do now u get the current one and if u complete the next one u get a saddle where u can chose one of the older ones

the new challenge is not new it’s the old magetower rescaled, by new challenge i mean new encounters and new bosses.
as i said a time limited weapon reskin is a perfetcly fine reward for playing an expansion as it is current, as long as limtied rewards are kept balanced and not overused.
torghast or twisting corridors should’ve been the new mage tower of shadowlands, but the devs are so unbelievably dumb that they can’t even do that

Ppl dont really care if its new or not only a small % does most just want the apperances they dont mind it being a challenge to get it they are willing to put in the work for it atleast i am

Nah man they are to busy getting all the money they can before they give up on the game the current ppl working on it is just ruining what was known to be one of the best games

I think that if u deerve the skin u deserve the original. Just add Timewalking to trasmog description and the ones who played in Legion would have the real one. And the one who got it now will have the original appearance but with timewalking name. Thats it! Everyone happy
There are alot items i cant get, but no matter how my oppinion is you Guys seem to thinkbit only selfish, so why is tread when everyone who thinks items that are only avalable ate selfish and nothing else?
I don’t mind when they remove how it’s obtained but add a alternative method once it’s been removed. (much like the pvp mounts/armours once a season is over). i never really got the point of ‘‘We spent time making this thing but we will be removing it in 1 months to make the time we spent making it pointless in the future’’

the problem is doing it retroactively.
as long as they decide not to introduce any new time limited content in the future, i would not particularly like the decision, but it would cause no further issues.
the problem is when blizz eats his own words and changes something it specifically stated otherwise, like making something unobtainable without a large enough amount of time in order to allow everyone who wants it to get it, or re introducing stuff that was explicitly presented as time limited.
that erodes the trust of the playerbase, and as we see blizz needs to rebuild that trust pretty quick.

i used to check it every night at 10 but all the things i still need go for gold cap so i forget it.
To some degree, Blizzard themselves don’t seem to believe this is a good idea. The Black Market AH is a source of tier pieces that are otherwise unobtainable, as well as mounts and other low-droprate items.
if it’s an old rebalanced challenge people will complain it’s balanced differently or that they get worse rewards for more effort ( exactly as someone in this thread stated, nerly word for word)
if it was a new challenge with new rewards, while some indirect difficulty based comparisons could still be done, it would be much less direct, AND mainly it would be more new content.
Its not even balanced on the PTR it was but then they buffed everything with like 50-100% it feels like
That whole point can be argued by pointing out mythic only tier sets were never removed and become trivial to get the next expansion.
