At least I would like to be able to get colored tints progression of mage tower appearance on other chars too.
The guy I played in legion is level 40 something, forgotten forever, and now I want to get a tint for a sword that requires 10 rbg wins. Yeah gg.
What is the relation between those new options and your topic?
I don’t have any of the weapon skins and they should stay exclusive. I’m perfectly fine with MMOs having reasonable timed rewards. It’s not like you have to play during a specific 2 week window in order to get them. We had like a year… and I didn’t play the game AT ALL during that time… so why should I be entitled to that reward?
Making them buyable with timewarped badges would be bad too. It’s not about exclusivity, it’s about demeaning the effort players put into the game. Someone who had to grind on all classes, gear all the classes in order to get the skins would now be offset by a 12 year old with a dungeon finder. It’s not good.
This is also why I am against all forms of catchup. Systems that require catchup as a part of them should never be shipped in the final game.
And to be fair - normally I would be for removing mythic raid skins after an expansion ends. The ONLY reason I do not support that is that it would create a much, much larger market for boosts.

They should add them to the Shop for 20 euro each.
So you had time to do a very long story line and raid EN and NH and get exalted with Nightfallen but no time for a 5min fight …

It’s a no from me as well. I was new to the game on Legion launch. By the end I had 12 110 toons (one of each class) due to the Tower I got all to a moderate ilvl and did the MT on every melee DPS, most range and most tanks.
I put a lot of time and energy into getting those, because I wanted to.
I wasn’t around for MoP so should not get the challenge mode stuff and I’m happy with that. Exclusivity and FoMo are part of an MMO imvho.

If you had asked for a new version of a mage tower style content, with solo fights that rewards cool mogs I would agree with you, but you asked specifically for removed stuff, so nope.

I can’t get Benediction from vanilla wow, and that was the analogue of the mage tower, being a challenging individual class quest. So why should the mage tower appearances not be exclusive? At least I know I’ll have a staff nobody can get even ten years down the line.

You want what you can’t get. Always the same. The Appearances are not always the best looking. It’s like music… it’s just your taste and frustration of not being able to get them. Once you get them they are super boring. But you can’t.
Nope, Was working away so no time or even access to video games.
No I got that stuff just as BFA was launching i.e the prepatch which is when MT was removed and I couldn’t do it before hand as I had no time to game.
I don’t need it contrary to some argumentative people it would’ve been neat to try and get it is all if not then I can live without it.

no, the point was you had tonnes and tonnes of time to do it when it was out, took like 10 minutes and wasn’t that tough, so if they bring it back and you don’t complete it again there will be more constant forum whiners about it

They announced it will be gone next xpac, by the end of Legion mage tower was nerfed to the ground.
Do not find silly excuse saying I was away with work as if you were working 24/7.
I’m pretty sure you have had at least 1 hour to enter the game and what you wanted to get.
I got most of the appearances and I totally agree. Transmogs shouldn’t be forever locked imo since it doesn’t add to the game 
. Not to forget the MoP gold challenge weapons too.
If they became buyable items from the time walking vendor i’d be happy.

Would be cool if they made certain no-longer-obtainable items and appearances be re-obtainable about once a year or longer; like elite gladiator appearances, or even event mounts. Not all in ONE event, but spread out.
But as always, those that obtained said items just want to Smeagol them.
It’s a god damn game, people. Give new players an opportunity instead of just dead-ending content.
Make new unique items/looks instead of unlocking the old ones.
