You have boss kills sub 40s, there is no OOM there.
The issue is simply spells don’t hit for crap, because there is barely any spellpower gear AND many casters are not even aware of what little spellpower gear exists.
For the record: this is me - I practically play Warlock at peak capacity minus engineering bull. Running OOM is not really the issue, it’s simply the spells not scaling up to match physicals.
Arcane Mage is pretty much only limited by Mana
Arcane mage is only one caster - I am talking about issues ALL casters share, even those who do not really run OOM.
The issue is not mana - it’s spellpower.
Very easy solution - just increase bosses armor beacuse all physical dps doing too much damage compared to casters. And DON’T buff casters or do any bonus to them because raid is too easy, and any changes should make it harder or equialent but NOT easier then now, so i think increasing bosses armor is the best change.
Or increase the world buff spellpower.
But tbh I feel like Mage hits like a wet noodle in BGs/PvP as well.

mage right now is good at duels, and in warsong, mage role has never been to kill stuff, but to support FC and peel enemy team…
Where did you get this nonsense? Mages in Classic absolutely did damage.
with late phase naxx gear, sure. But premading is only relevent in early phases.
look at the warsong tournament premades. Outside of niche pom pyro builds, mages arent going around trying to kill stuff.
I’m not going to look at some artificial gameplay where streamers who bought gold play. That’s not an accurate representation of WoW Classic PvP. Nor was the Mak’gora tournament that.
what do you mean streamers? it was a blizzard hosted tournament showcasing the best teams in warsong during classic. Also consumables are a part of wow classic pvp, and you don’t need to buy gold to have plenty of faps, lips, grenades, flash bombs, etc…
You don’t, but most people who pop expensive consumes in BGs and random PvP do buy gold.

flasks and magic dust, and some other op ridiculously expensive consumes irrc were banned from the tournament for that exact reason.
