I don’t want to be forced to do content I don’t like and I’m sure a lot of players like don’t want to run Torghast anymore.

O RLY ? and what about Soul Ash ?
What do you NEED it for? If you are too noob to do Thorgast then there is no need for you to have a legendary. People who NEED the legendary for their raid performance are also good enough to do Thorgast. What do you need it for? Transmog farming?

You can play the game without a Legendary. My hunter is doing that right now, infact.
If you want the reward though, jump through the hoops like a good boy. You can apply “I WANT THIS BUT DON’T WANT TO GET IT” to literally anything in the game.

Ever considered that some people just don’t like Torghast?
Honestly, I don’t think it’s a big time commitment to do one torghast run per wing each week. I guess you can just not get your legendary until soul ash starts dropping from somewhere else, sound good?

2x45 minutes is quite a commitment, especially if you have to crawl from 3 to 4 to 5 to 6…
If you can’t handle torghast, then you’re not meant for high end content.
And without high end content, there’s no point in having legendaries anyways.
It’s a 30 minute run per week, after unlocking however many floors you can. It’s not this hours and hours long time consuming thing to begin with. Like it or not, if you want the legendaries, you’d do it. It’s not like every single mythic+ runner or every single person who joins a raid LOVES the content. They do it for the gear. It’s a part of every MMO. Sometimes, you like the grind. Sometimes you don’t. But you do it for the sake of what you want.

PvE players be like “iF yOuR’e tOo nOoB…” when in reality it’s just garbage, easy, no brainer content nobody in their right mind enjoys. If you enjoy Torghast chances are pretty high that The Big Bang Theory is your favorite TV show.

It’s not a commitment, it’s a boring content, that’s all.
Have you even done Torghast? It’s 2 runs per week IF you’re on the max layer, which first needs to be grinded towards. When 3 new layers unlocks you first have to slug through all of those first.
And my runs are 30~45 minutes each, yes not every class/spec can blast through.
I finished torghast with 2 characters, so yea. I saw enough.
like i said, once you unlock it, it’s a 30 minute run.
But sure. Make it 2 runs for 2 wings, so that makes it an hour PER WEEK.
the HORROR for needing to grind an hour of content for legendaries. Oh how hard it must be for you.
Then how about taking my first recommendation and not bothering with legendaries at all? Because you either grind it, or you don’t want to or can’t grind it.
and the latter doesn’t need legendaries anyways. some exclusivity for legendaries isn’t too bad either.

If you do it in 30 minutes, which isn’t that easy on every class (resto shaman for example).
I’ll grind 20 hours, no problem, as long as the content is fun. I’ve been herbing/fishing/skinning/mining/crafting for a good 5x more time than my maw and torghast time combined, and I had a ton more fun.
Sadly I can’t get Soul Ash through the usual activities.
If only Torghast wasn’t so boring in its current state… And I doubt the 18 floor version will be rewarding Soul Ash, while this is the fun mode.
Legendaries are a must for Mythic. It’s like saying go play 8.3 without corruption. Go play 8.2 without essences. Go play 8.1 without azerite gear.
It would be much better if Torghast wasn’t the only source. I hoped they caught on by making things like conduits drop from all kinds of content

You may find skinning or mining or fishing fun.
I find torghast fun.
Do you see me coming here and demanding new methods of farming fish and ore? No. Because the system is fine. and if i want to grind it for gold earning or whatever else reason, i gotta put effort into it.
You may not like torghast, but for me and a lot of other players it’s a highlight for this expansion. I had cases of not being even close to killing the final boss, as well as building a combination of abilities that made me deal a 650K damage frostbolt that oneshot the boss.
So it’s not like i haven’t seen how easy or hard it can be.
If you want alternative method, go level up your mission table. It gives you soul ash missions.
But don’t expect the game to change everything to make it suit your preference.
In an MMO, often times the grind can turn into a chore. As long as it’s a reasonable chore, timewise, it’s of no relevance whether you like it or not.
I HATE mythic+ with a passion. Yet i’m planning on doing my weekly runs anyways, because i want the gear. and in BFA, mythic+ basically was the end all be all for gear too.
