Make the game easy

It is exactly how a ladder works, you get rating by completing dungeons and you get a higher score if you actually time it. The bigger your score the bigger shot you have of someone actually inviting you. What you want is to not have stepped into anything above a +3 but get invited for +20s. Also you can always create a group for your key and invite whomever you want, the system is literally as open as it could be.

Next I’m gonna have to explain in detail how stairs work where you usually take one step at a time.
A ladder is not very different.

It’s OK if you want to uphold the current toxic system that is costing the game massively, but don’t act like you don’t understand what an alternative could be. Where everyone is invited by the system, not by other players.

You literally take one step at a time to build up score. Seriously are you unaware how M+ rating works?

The steps stop at heroic.

No they go from heroic to M0 to M+2,+3… and so on. Also your key is your personal invite.

Keys are for doors. Not ladders.

For blizz to give players keys to lock other players out is ludicrous. Especially with how widespread toxicity have become. And that’s no wonder in a game that encourage it. Majority of potential playerbase is long gone thanks to it.

This all is not as simple as we make it appear here, but when we have to argue what a ladder is that’s also what it’s become.

Boosting is a tough nut to crack. IMO should be bannable offense when taking gold to do so. Surely you should be allowed to boost friends.

And when friend is boosted and he go solo out way beyond his skill level, he will go splat over and over again and quickly realize this is not his place.

This is less about the game being hard, and more about the most prominent raid groups listed in the group finder being cheese groups made by the leaders to make others farm them loot without them having to do any real leading.

If you want easier access to Normal and Heroic raids, you can start following Twitch streamers who organize Viewer-raids. These seem to have really relaxed requirements because they are semi premades where the streamer guides the group via discord on what to do and have plenty of guildies/friends who help make the raid run more smoothly

With enchantment shaman and rouge friends?

WoW is too easy.

Until you hit the end-game where a difficulty spike comes along and hits you like a sack of bricks.

The reason early WoW is so easy is that it doesn’t allow you to adjust the difficulty at all, and you want the early game to be welcoming to all…

One of the brilliant features of the original WoW, and one which was recently replicated in the wildfully successful Elden Ring, is that the player determines the difficulty with how much side content they wish to do, and that this side content is interesting on its own, especially for first playthroughs - meaning you get a harder and more focused alt levelling and a lot of the content you no longer care about because you already did it goes away as well.

WoW had this. Want a harder experience? Go do some red quests. Want something easier? Get slower XP with tons of green quests. It wasn’t always implemented just right, but it was a lot more fun than what we’ve got nowadays - for everybody.

Haha, it’s alright
