Indeed, it’s important to remain optimistic, I just wish blizzard is really taking our concerns into account.
Am I the only one who feels content with having Zandalari Trolls be Paladins, with Warlocks being a sacrifice for that ability?
Though I will admit, it sucks to a degree, but if I had to choose one or the other, I’d go with Paladins being playable.
No, sacrificing one class for another is never right and I think people often have trouble putting themselves in another person’s shoes.
People seem to believe that everyone should be happy Zandalari got Paladins as if everyone loved the class. Personally I don’t care for Paladins, I have one for the sake of leveling the class and collecting mogs but I rarely ever play. On the other hand I love Warlocks and I love playing them, therefore Zandalari Paladins isn’t anything groundbreaking or interesting to me, despite the fact that I’m glad people who enjoy the class have gotten them.
But if there’s something I believe is that you can still be excited for Zandalari Paladins while still supporting Zandalari Warlocks and helping those who want them reach Blizzard on the matter.
More classes more fun.
Exactly this!
I don’t understand why people tell us to be happy that Zandalari got Paladin and leave it at that!
I’m a Warlock player, and if I was going to support a class it will be Warlock, but I never happened to oppose adding Paladins when people were calling for them when Zandalari were first announced! And indeed I’m not suggesting taking them away now for the sake of adding Warlocks, I just want to add Warlocks in addition to them!
Well as someone who mains a warlock, with a strong desire for that warlock to be a Zandalari, and as someone who doesn’t play a paladin, no I am not effing content lol
Okay, maybe I am a bit wrong on this. I am just happy that they do get to be Paladins.
But I feel like that Blizzard won’t be changing their minds on this matter. It was hard enough to get them to add Paladins, and now to make them also be Warlocks again? It’s more likely that they will feel resentful and just say “Okay, you want Warlocks AND Paladins? Well now you have neither!”.
And it isn’t that I don’t share in the grief that Warlock players feel in regards to not having Zandalari be Warlocks. My girlfriend plays one and she probably would feel rather bummed not playing one, if she wanted to play a Zandalari Troll Warlock (She’s not a big fan that she can’t show off boots)
I guess ultimately, that is my fear: That if people are asking for a Warlock AND a Paladin, that Blizzard will get vindictive and say “You can have either one or the other, not both, but if you keep persisting, we’ll just take both classes out”. And honestly, I wouldn’t be a big fan of being stuck with two unfavorable choices for a Horde Paladin.
When Zandalari Trolls are introduced to the game, every available class especially Druids and Paladins are going to reroll to ZT. I dont want to roam around and see only Zandalari Trolls on the Horde Side.
This is not going to be similar with fat humans
so my personal opinion is no to ZT Warlocks. Even tho i feel you Warlocks
We have belf paladins, I for one will not give that up, but I will go Zanda on one of my alt palas for sure.
Well, that would be a really childish way to deal with it!
This is generally how parents treat their kids when fighting over a toy or so, if a company adopted such behavior it would be very bad for them! We’re customers, not children who need discipline. Even when we ask for something to be added it’s because we’re paying for that product and want to have fun using it, not because we’re not fighting with the Paladins community over the slot.
Screw Zandalari warlocks, gimme Zandalari bloodtrolls!
(it will never happen…)
Cry it out. :)))))
Wonderfully said. I think on the 14th there’s gonna be a Q&A so perhaps it’ll be a good chance to bring this up to Blizzard’s attention once more.
That would be great!

That was a disappointing Q&A and still no answer from Blizzard regarding this matter… Guess the feedback just gotta keep flowing.
Indeed it does.
Ok so found another Zandalari NPC that uses fell magic, though he is kind of bony.
He is Quartermaster Boonzali in Port of Zem’lan.
The Port got other npc using warlock skills too.
That makes at least 2 zandalari warlocks in Zandalar.
Nice find!
But in reality we don’t need to find them. There are many othjer races were there were no known warlocks and they could still be warlocks.
While doing the Alliance War campaign I also found a bunch of Zandalari Empire aligned NPCs called Zandalari Hexxers that use Soul Blast and wear all cloth gear. Sounds very Warlock like to me as well.
