I did the other with of Torghast on my Havoc really easily, but I tried Upper reaches like 5 times, anima powers there are rare, got to floor 5 with 14 anima powers (2 of those I got from the vendor), even tho I always clear the whole map and then got stuck on the last miniboss, great design.
Ur saying this as if you don’t understand that sometimes Torghast F’s you with the RNG. Suck it and redo it, then proceed to steamroll with better traits.

There are no better traits FFS that’s what the thread is about. No 2-3 Havoc traits double your DPS.
But what powers did you have? What is the best possible set of powers? What were the vendor powers you didn’t buy? What were you interrupting, and what were you not interrupting? What were you running away from and what were you facetanking?
I fully believe the boss was too hard with a low probability of the perfect powers appearing. I’m not doubting that it’s deeply improbable to get through it solo; there’s more than enough evidence on these forums to tell us that Torghast is horribly, horribly imbalanced between specs, classes and indeed runs with the same character.
…I will continue to advise that grouping up helps massively. Chances are ONE of your team of five will be OP by the end of it. Solo, you’re totally at the mercy of RNG with the powers. With a party, you vastly reduce the chances of reaching the boss with no relevant powers.
Yeah but what if you get 3 different Mind Control traits that all revolve around getting more Phantasma? ISNT THAT FUN?!
Just facerolled him as vengeance. Y’all tripping, this is tuning issue. I have played Vengeance maybe 1 hour this whole expansion I’m just mongotapping buttons.

Those are utter rubbish.
Looking at wowhead, looks like stacking Felborn Torch and Grim Tinder should do the trick.
Priest ones are either insane steroid pumping nukes…
…or completely useless. Now spin the RNG wheel and see if the next 30 min of your life will be a complete waste or not.
My roommate is spriest and he does a fear + dot builds only.
They’re strong but Immo aura is maybe 10% of your DPS on single target. Keep in mind I needed 70% more DPS here. Those powers aren’t going to do that. And even then they’re 2 powers out of 100 you can get, RNG is really bad in this case.
Floor 3 - 10 anima powers, 20 remnants, only one “big boi” power up.

Even if you do, it could simply be because your class is better at clearing. I already facerolled the floor on Vengeance. Maybe Havoc is just dog

I tried to rush it all & killed no mobs & wondered why I couldnt dent the floor boss & died a lot … kill everything :))
The layer doesn’t have a lot of powers.

This is definitely one of the problems with torghast atm, there is so much RNG in it, have had runs where i picked up 15 powers and 1 had an in combat effect i could use, making me unable to kill last boss.
That being said you clearly rushed the run, and i don’t blame you. layers 1-5 you could skip literally everything and have less than 10 powers and still do last boss depending on class, but on layer 6 that was suddenly not possible anymore, at least not on hunter.
I really recommend just getting a group together, makes it much easier.
Some classes have it harder at the tower than some…can we just agree on that? With havocs nerfed dps and self healing face tanking stuff actually does hurt and im talking about attacks you cant avoid. 1 elites auto attacks can take 1/3rd of your hp there. I have issues of even Clearing the rooms like you people like to say that is so damn easy for you.
I gave up going there solo because all i get from it is pissed of feeling. Havocs powers arent Op like some other classes. More often than anything i get powers including mawrats or meta size…why do i want to kill rats easily or why do i want to be bigger. Oh and i might get more speed to my felrush… very useful.
Only anima powers i like is our legendary more versa or haste, maybe the skills that does pure damage to my target. Once i got a power that allowed me to kill elites very easily…havent seen that ever since not sure did it get removed.

jk the place is dog. i did it easy because im a healer with 1 min cd on earth ele ( powers ) but i couldnt imagine doing these as a dps class without healing abilities 
Boy, people can’t read that’s not floor 6. That’s a different floor level boss. Not floor 6. If you even read the mobs name, or did torghast… you’d know lol. Floor 5, which you can get bad luck and end up with 10. How it goes. There were no ‘mechanics’ for the DH to do, nothing they could do outside of pure dmg.
Which, I haven’t seen very many ‘DH one shot!!?!?!?!?!’ pop up videos everywhere like I have other classes/specs.
