There is a pve server for you. You rolled pvp server so you have no say in that, if you don’t like it, you can always transfer from pvp to pve.
What’s with the pve players that don’t wanna play pvp servers forcing everyone to play on pve?

Firemaw and Gehennas are PvE realms. The PvP label is just formality. Do not blame us for picking a one-sided “PvP” megaserver, everyone knows there’s no PvP in there, but it’s easier to find groups and the economy is healthier because of the large population.
If you want Blizzard to revive world PvP for some reason, they should create a new realm with enforced faction balance instead of ruining the existing 2 to satisfy the demand of a small minority
No. its default a pvp server from the very beginning. deal with it or transfer. you also get a warning chatbox evberytime you create a character on a PVP Realm.
What balance?
Empty formality. They have been PvE for most of their lifespan. A rock won’t start swimming and quacking just because you stick a “duck” label on it, sorry
it’s just because some ignorant people are too lazy to play on pve? i mean, you chose to join this realm at your risk. don’t ruin it for those who knowingly came there as it was labelled.
You don’t have to merge them, it’ll cause more damage than good, i think a better option would be to take one of locked pvp server, force there 50/50 thing and open free transfers to that one, so all wpvp enthusiasts will go there and have fun
This has nothing to do with ignorance or laziness. Why would people pick a regular PvE realm when the “PvP” one-sided megaserver always has 4 times the population? Do not blame people for making the rational optimal decision
sounds more abusive than rational. the audacity to complain about pvp on a pvp server is wild. especially when you see how they balanced it out on the classic 60 servers.
I think they can just merge all servers to 1 PvP and 1 PvE like they did in anniversary and sod. Cataclysm/mop population is less then anniversary on ironforge website, so why they did it on anniversary but can’t do here?
If they truly are PvE servers, then why would anyone oppose the idea of a server merge aside from potential lag?
If that is the case then you will be perfectly safe as you can’t be attacked by players from other factions. That is exclusive to PvP servers.
merge them and then theyll end up dominated one way
These pvp servers were/are so popular because you HAD to pvp for bis gear in vanilla. If the “classic” schtick started with TBC nobody would care about gehennas or firemaw.
There is era and anniversary for you boomer.
Players themselves imposed the current status quo over the past six years of mergers. What reason is there to interfere with their clear will not to WPvP?
The more practical reason is that it creates a logistical nightmare for the majority of players. Classic has no system to move guilds or guild banks, so the option of a FCT to a PvE server is insufficient. ‘Don’t roll on a PvP server’ is meaningless; players had to roll where their friends were, since Classic has no region-wide or cross-realm raiding. For most of prog Classic, the best and most populated options were monofaction PvP servers. What’s done is done- breaking up these communities like the days of TBC server closures makes no sense.
Forced faction balance makes a ton of sense for new servers. Opening one for the minority of world PvP enjoyers who deserve a home that suits their needs seems more practical.
Those that have clear will to not pvp can transfer to PvE. There is even a warning message when you create a character on a pvp realm.
I agree with the population balance issue has been caused by players. But that doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be adressed. There is a reason why there are GMs, to solve issues created by the players. This is just another one of those, granted just not an offence like most of the rest.
I can easily understand why people decided to roll on a PvP server. This is an MMO, population and human interaction is everything. More pop the merrier.
However they knew what they also signed up for. Those servers were and always will be PvP servers. If any part of the population has to make sacrifices here then they have to be the PvE players. Just like if they were RP servers. You can’t just invade the server for the better population and expect role-players to leave or put up with it because it is convenient.
Forced faction balance would make a lot of sense for new servers but it still makes plenty of sense for the current ones. PvP players already have a home. Which are Firemaw and Gehennas.
The reason why the population, starting from TBC onwards, chose Firemaw or Gehennas was simply due to the high number of players. At the launch of Wrath, Gehennas had 30k players during the first Naxx raid, and Firemaw had 20k. This pushed many to transfer because of GDKP and the opportunity to have a more than satisfactory number of raid groups. Thinking that people can be forced into doing world PvP after 6 years seems completely unrealistic to me. By now, those servers are and will remain one-faction realms due to the convenience on the PvE side; the PvP mindset died 10 years ago and it’s never coming back.
Every single one of them agreed to the pvp server rules.
And in fact it is commonly accepted that single-faction servers are also PvE, because there is no advantage in 50-50. Blizzard has never done Merge of anything since 2019 and I don’t think it will start now
