Meaning behind your character names

I own a rare plant shop. I’m obsessed with tropical and carnivorous plants, and I’m a druid. Just felt right

Anizah is named after a Arabian tribe.

Onacona is my Highmountain, which means “white owl” in one of the Native American languages.

Azsharia is named after Queen Azshara. A night elf mage.

I have a Lightforged priest called Roxelena who is named after a Ukrainian woman who was the most powerful woman during the Ottoman Empire and basically started a big role for women to get involved in politics. I got inspired from the TV show pretty much. Her ottoman name was “Hurrem” but I liked her original Ukrainian name much better, which was Roxelena. She was the daughter of a Orthodox Christian priest so I though the priest class was fitting.

That’s pretty much the inspirations for my character names.

This particular one is a straight and shameless steal from the Wheel of Time series and means the left-hand side dagger of a twin set of poisoned daggers used in dueling.

My main is Dragalthor which was a contraction of the main character of the book, a character called Rand Al’Thor who is the reincarnation of the Dragon.

As you can tell, I have always been useless at making up my own character names.

Hasn’t got a meaning, used an elven, celtic, and fae name generators, jotted down all the ones I liked the sound of, then made a name up from all the components that I thought fitting!!

I’m an aggressive, in-your-face type player, so I wanted my character name to reflect that, so yeah, Canabal.

Mine is the reverse (with slight difference) of another character of mine Xiadaria.
And the meaning of that one is… just randomly thought up.

Dottie by name Dotter by nature. And it’s a real first name too.

She was originally called Emeritia then Némesis (the Warlock) which is what my figureprint says on the front, then Dottie became available a long time ago when you had to make a ticket to get a name.
