It’s pretty sad that they are allowed to be back. People sent Sco and his girlfriend proof about sexual harassment issues within the guild since 2018 and they and the other management members either covered it up for the sake of a stupid video game race or were part of it to begin with.
Now they make the same guild with the same people and tell others that the sexual predator co-ceo will be sent on some kind of training and that’s it but he will be still part of the guild… that’s pretty much shows how much they want to change.
The best Method players already made a new guild so it’s not like they have any chance to compete for world first for a long time anyways.

They could do that if they did not charge for their seervice - but they do. So they can’t.
I think Scott should stick to streaming until an entirely new team he creates gains momentum and becomes competitive.
He’s making bank from his streams anyway, no?

Because covering up sexual misconduct is a serious offence. And while I have no idea how hard this has been on Sco and his girlfriend I do have an old friend from school that was raped. She has never recovered from that. Having seen how this affects people I can assure you that you should care!
I hope Method will have close to no support from the community. They don’t deserve it. They don’t deserve any forgiveness. They actions were inexcusable. Proof was given to them time and time again and they ignored it.
Heck… one of the offenders are still in charge. Go figure… they obviously don’t understand the scope of their failure.

it’s kind of futile, i mean they may come back and get sponsors again or whatever but they’ll never not be associated with the Josh scandal
it’s like subway didn’t go bankrupt because of Jared Fogle but the scandal lives on with their brand name until they shut down for good

I know that publishers engaged in horrible abuses of their positions exploiting their staff is somehow being ignored by a lot of the gaming community. But could we not also add groups like these performing similar if not worse things to the list of things the community chooses to ignore and let slide?

Coz there is a part of gamers for whom game is a job. Never ever try to be as them.
While it’s nice to see Method returning, I wish they didn’t come back with such a corporate approach. If I were Sco, I’d be straight up and honest on camera and tell the entire story, no lies and fully transparent, but it seems they’re too scared to be real because they’re an organization and corporate PR bla bla bla.
I do believe that they shouldn’t lose their organization over what 1-2 members have done. Get rid of them and those who covered anything up, then make sure it doesn’t happen again.
All of these vindictive people in stream chats and YouTube comments who’re throwing typical negativity towards Method, shouldn’t stop them from giving it another go.
Having an unforgiving and spiteful attitude towards Method as a whole, isn’t fair whatsoever.
Shouldn’t Suffer for the actions of another??? lol lots of them knew about the sgoings on and did nothing.

Too many of them were aware of what was going on and did nothing about it.
Kind of ballsy that’d they come back under the Method brand, but I don’t think they’ll ever recover from what happened.

You sure about that? I see these kind of comments often but I wonder how all of these random people know that “Most of them knew about it but did nothing!” when in actuality, some of them knew about Josh’s supposed charges but Josh being the sociopath that he is, he manipulated them into thinking that it was nothing serious.
Plus, if you had a successful Org which were claiming world first raid kills, would you simply kick your best (or one of your best) healers over the allegations that he has charges against him? no sensible Org leader would, especially not a guy who has been in their guild for years and who they’ve played with a lot and gotten used to.
Yes, his other incidents were straight-up wrong (knife on stream) and the other stuff that was going on, but the fact of the matter is that Method as a guild and an Org don’t have physical and mental control over a guy who is privately getting with a girl, meeting and dating them. That would be pretty weird.
