I’ve read the story and i think that 16 year old girl played a game with the wrong man.
She told herself that she apparently was depressed and some other stuff.
But the whole point from what i’ve seen, she kept in contact with him?!
It’s not like she contacted a GM to tell them about this inappropriate talks and / or behaviour?
In the long run we are talking about something that happened three years ago and no to defend the man but why now?
From what i’ve read also i wasn’t his first time this has happened, so i wonder why method has failed to intervene in this matter?
Also if people look at the picture that Josh sent to her with that text!
How insanely desperate that guy must’ve been?
I would even kick my dog off him if i had one and it would actually consider doing something with him.
This story the girl posted is something she did way too late.
But now it’s all in the open, what will Blizzard do?
Will they ban him or will they allow him to keep playing?
I’m not in anyway the feminist type, but I tell you that 16 year olds DO NOT process this correctly and should rightfully always be protected by people like this, no matter how mature they appear to be or whatever. I also had my share of “contacts” as a 14 year old with people much older than me, and some of them were really alright and in retrospect I see that these people had an incredible well approach to valuable education, but with others its completely different. But ofcourse I didn’t realise that back then.
I don’t necessarily “attack” you know for what you said, but I just try to get you to see that perspective, in retrospec everything can (rightfully) appear very very different.
How the law works in the land oif internet and celebrity
“You are guilty. Guilty guilty guilty. And I don’t care whether it’s true or not. you are GUILTY!! Here. Do what the internet wants you to, take this razor blade, sit in a warm bath and slice your wrists. We. the internet. have passed judgement on you and we are omnipotent!!”
But did you actually find anything?
“Well depends what you mean. if you mean evidence we found on the internet and from a screaming baying mob then yeah we found tonnes of it!”
But can it be verified…
“Who cares!! GUILTY!!”
In other words. I’ll be passing judgement when the facts are laid out in front of me.
But I do have to say that its f****ing weird people see twitch streamers as their “Idol” and folliwing them around and subscribing to the thing
Jim Morrison and Tony Iommi worked for me way after their prime as my Idols and they were in no way capable of making me send inappropriate pictures luckily
called it, just like I called chris d’elia after about 10 minutes of being introduced to the guy and his work.
Makes sense why all those big names suddenly distanced themselves from Method lol If the GM’s knew they’re finished, can’t wait to watch this slow burn shizzstorm!
Why were people continuing to socialise with this guy if he was a creep? I don’t get it?
Is it because he was a famous priest or something?
The first freaky thing said to me by someone I barley know, I block them, straight away. No exceptions.
No you don’t. You’re going on what some Method people have SAID.
I could say that you just robbed a bank.
Would that make it true?
The only way to find out what actually happened is to hear both sides of the story in a court of law.
BOTH.
That is how the law works, and how the law in a democratic society works.
Unless of course, as I said, you are simply willing to believe everything at face value the internet tells you and just want to hang him from the nearest tree. if you do, god help us all if you are ever in a position of authority over other people.
It’s she said, plus screenshots, plus associates of the guy going “uuuuh yeah”.
Of course due process needs to be served but beyond a certain point you have to accept that continuing to raise the bar of proof required (for an accusation that is notoriously hard to generate it for) comes across as assuming innocence despite a raft of anecdotal evidence that seems to suggest there’s reasons to be doubtful.
You have to entertain a lot of seemingly nonsensical stuff to dismiss all of the above as nothing. Random accuser, sure it happens. Doctored screenies. Okay that happens too. Wierdly behaving guildmates. Okay what so they’re all in some wierd coup together?
I don’t know either way but it’s wierd and to say it’s nothing, because it’s not cold hard empirical proof gives a free ticket to a lot of unlawful behaviours which leave no empirical evidence.
Agreed, however she willfully engaged the “man” and the way i’ve read it she undertook 0 effort to get away from him.
Even if only she told her parents, a friend, the GM from method, a Blizzard GM, anyone that could’ve helped her.
Telling people that young people do stupid things, man i’ve done some things when i was young you wouldn’t even believe and some only me and select few know about.
But still, that’s no excuse to do it like the way it went down now.
If you’re sorry about how it went, then why take so long to act?
I’m not out here attacking people or trying to slander the girl, i think it’s just odd that it just now came out.
Especially when that Josh guy has had previous encounters of the same kind under his belt?
Why if people were aware has no one taken action against him then?
Little side note:
Why did she even take screenshots and never used them before in those whole three years before this?
Almost looks to me like it’s premeditated, did she expect this to work out like this or was it a “just in case” or something?
See the blog of the girl who was sexually groomed by a method scumbag and then those method scumbags all covered it up when another allegation was put forward last year. Omg the . I live for this
