For me it’s because clearly there’s a strong void connection and we’re going to be in the middle of the story, which is more interesting. Hopefully less of a drip feed. The theme of void, ethereals and belves is appealing to me.
I love Belf lore and aesthetic so I’m happy to get an updated version and I think the Draenei might as well since their heritage quest talks about making a new city for them. It’s about time they were updated, they’ve been stuck in TBC since TBC, whilst everywhere else had a Cata update or several others.
Going back to already existing zones and updating them gives it a more living world feel, although their phasing issues are horrendous (looking at you Undercity)
Obviously we don’t know much of what the expansion will actually entail, so I’d say I am more looking forward to the expansion announcement than the expansion itself. I’ll make my mind up then, and once again when I actually play it. By no means am I am not looking forward to TLT but that’s too far away for any real hype atm.

I wished player housing had good items. Also fits for races style. Like I wanted troll’s style home and furnitures
Wondered what Quel’Thalas look after Midnight. But wished update allow fly in this city.

We don’t really need access to every old zone.
These zones are empty right now so why should we preserve them?
But it’s very important to not re do the cata failure of deleting interesting questlines and mog items.
Those must be preseverd and placed into the reworked zone
The one thing I’m most interested in is how are they gonna handle classes going forward. Another system like TWW? Something more? Very curious.
What is the point of announcing the next expansion when this one was just released? I don’t understand it, can someone explain? For me it kills all the hype on the current expansion.
They decidet to announce not only the next expansion but even the next one after that together with tww.
They handle this as a trilogy with a connected story instead of every expansion standing for themselves like it was before.
I think they did that to ensure people will not be upset when the story on each expansion themselves isn’t that good cause you have to see all three as one.
They also said they want to finish up tmoet of the current story on the world to then focus on completely new stuff
Okay if it’s a trilogy it makes sense, but what I find silly is to announce features that won’t be available for the current expansion, like housing.
Why would you announce stuff like that knowing that it won’t be available? They should have made it for TWW season 3-4 and not for Midnight.
Also if I’m tried understand what blizz talked about worldsoul saga with 3 parts.

They only announced it recently and it will be in the pre-patch, so technically not midnight…
Yes they are still full expansions and you need to buy them separately

yeah, you can’t have both lol.
you need zidormi for old stuff and new stuff in another - but i find it bothersome since u go to a new zone then u have to fly to zidormi placed in an inconvenient spot to get back to ur old thing u wanted to visit ;c

I expect more of the same formula that we’ve had since Legion. It must be the Activision influence of spewing out the same game every year. It’s boring now…

Ofcourse I can have both.
Not every quest is important to keep just stuff like the old class quests for example.
It’s a shame you can’t get the priest staff after cata that quest can either be preserved or the mog can be made accessible in another way
