Mists of Pandaria Classic

  • The achievement Where’s my Air Support? is now awarded as intended.
  • Classes
    • Fixed a bug that caused macros for some spells, such as Charge, Jab, and Sprouting Mushrooms to incorrectly return the “Spell not Learned” error.
    • Druid
      • Guardian
        • Rejuvenation no longer resets the swing timer while Heart of the Wild is active.
        • Heart of the Wild’s cooldown refund now only triggers if the player is shifting into Bear Form.
        • Developers’ notes: This cooldown refund for Guardian druids will now only trigger if the player has been out of Bear Form for at least 3 seconds, and will not trigger if the player has not shifted into Bear Form at all since logging in.
    • Hunter
      • The pet ability Growl will now automatically turn off autocasting when entering a dungeon or raid.
    • Mage
      • Ring of Frosts cast through Presence of Mind now correctly has a 2 second arming time, which is correctly reduced by Haste.
    • Monk
      • Chi Torpedo and Roll can no longer be stopped by a cancelaura macro.
    • Rogue
      • Vanishing with Subterfuge talented and then picking up the Shadow Sight debuff in Arena now causes the Rogue to exit stealth.
  • Currencies
    • The Honor Quartermasters Lok’nor Bloodfist and Hayden Christophen now offer players Motes of Harmony for 400 Honor.
    • The Honor Quartermasters in Pandaria now offer the Honor to Justice conversion.
    • The Justice Quartermaster Lo ping now offer players Motes of Harmony for 600 Justice Points.
    • The Justice Quartermaster in Pandaria now offers the Justice to Honor conversion.
    • Developers’ notes: We feel that it was too disruptive for players to return to Cataclysm vendors to do Honor conversions, and we really like keeping Justice Points relevant for longer.
  • Items
    • Golad, Twilight of Aspects and Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages (the Fangs of the Father daggers) no longer scale up in power for players above level 85.
    • Chaotic Skyfire Diamond no longer scales up in power for players above level 70.
    • Powerful Earthsiege Diamond no longer scales up in power for players above level 80.
    • The Cracked Talisman can no longer be used in combat until the release of the Siege of Orgrimmar content.
    • Horde players can now correctly summon the Chi-ji Kite and Yu’lon Kites from Inscription.
  • Quests
    • Horde players can now correctly use the Shan’ze Dao and Shado-Pan Garrison portals after completing the quest “Through the Portal”.
  • Monk
    • Chi Torpedo and Roll can no longer be stopped by a cancelaura macro.

This change was already a controversy in retail.
As a main windwalker monk I remember it was one of the biggest reasons for me and few of my WW monks friends to stop playing back in the days.

I’m not sure to understand what is the reason of that nerf, too niche or complicated macro making for the majority ?
Correct if i’m wrong but we had to do the same cancelaura for iceblock as mage before you implemented the auto cancel feature when pressed a second time.

So why not find a solution for monk too ? A second press might be counterintuitive since we often roll twice in a row but what if :

Press a spell from a determined list (like offensive spells?) would auto cancel roll, you could implement it baseline or with a glyph like you did with ret paladins in wotlk classic.

It might not be a big deal in PVE but i guarantee it is game-changing in PVP : suppose you chase someone around a pillar in arena, you might need a roll to catch that person but it is making you go 5 yards too far which result in bad placement and not catching the person at all.
Windwalker monk is already not a very popular spec, this change makes it even less attractive.

Imagine warriors charging makes them go 5 yard past their target, it would be unplayable. As warrior also you might want to cancel your bladestorm to execute, or cancel divine shield to remove the damage reduction as retribution paladin, why not prevent them from doing that so ?

Also in a precedent post Zirene even said that you didn’t want to change the PVP balance for multiple reasons, well this nerf is a big deal.

The fishing bug is still there, youre supposed to be able to fish with low level skill in Pandaria, cause thats how you get Golden Carp, Im still getting nothing while fishing. Really frustrating, theres no way for me to get Golden Carp except buying on AH but I wanna level fishing AND earn gold at the same time. I was so looking forward to fishing Golden Carp in Mop as ridiculous as it sounds. That its still not fixed is just insane: Please fix!

Fishing is still broken, I am constantly getting a blank window while fishing.

roll for monk still bugged

Hello, I don’t know if you’re aware, but there’s a very annoying bug that happens to my human warrior but not to my other characters. After each 2v2 or 3v3 arena, all my talents and glyphs are erased. It’s very annoying having to set it all the time.
The other thing is that the elite PvP vendors, I don’t know if they should, but they’re not selling the 2.2k enchantments (Glorious Tyranny).

Fix the damn lag.

Fix the damn lag, your balance efforts are worthless outside of instanced content when it takes 2-3 seconds to cast every spell

No hotfix for the 4th day in a row of unplayable lag?

Mists of Pandaria Classic

  • The Mushroom Chair toy is no longer usable in Battlegrounds, Dungeons, or Raids.
  • Fishing pools now correctly spawn in Stranglethorn Vale.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented some players from being able to see the portal to Stormstout Brewery.
  • Classes
    • Death Knight
      • Players who swap from Frost specialization to a different specialization and use Blood Tap on their Blood Runes will no longer erroneously convert their Blood Runes into permanent Death Runes.
    • Monk
      • When Brewmaster Monks use Provoke to taunt a target away from a currently active tank that has attack power active from Vengeance, they are now correctly granted 50% of the previous tank’s Vengeance value.
  • Pet Battles
    • Hoplet no longer has Moon Tears as both of its 2nd slot options; one is replaced by Moon Dance.
  • Player versus Player
    • The Flag will now cap immediately in Twin Peaks when returned to the base if there is a player standing on the cap point. Previously players had to move off of the capture point and then back. This mirrors how it occurs in Warsong Gulch.
    • Priest
      • Battleground flags are now immediately dropped when the priest transforms into a Spirit of Redemption, as intended.
      • Priests can no longer cast Leap of Faith and pull flag carriers up to the graveyard in Twin Peaks.
  • Quests
    • Resolved inconsistencies with the Elder Charms of Good Fortune quest.
  • Transmog
    • The Valorous Dreadnaught set now has the correct appearance on all pieces.

Can you add some layers to Firemaw-EU to stop this horrendous lag that is being shouted about in the forums with zero communication on what will be done to fix it?

Just fyi, something was done yesterday evening it seems. There were 5 layers up last night, and 4 are up currently (up from 3). The lag seems to be somewhat better, but not gone completely.

  • World Bosses should now correctly reset, weekly.
  • The Enchanted Pearl, Enchanted Tear, and Nightmare Tear gems will now give correct stats at max level.
  • Windshear Cactus, Raptorleaf, and Snakeroot now have loot that is appropriate for the current patch.
  • Classes
    • Priest
      • Shadow Apparition missiles now move at the correct speed.
  • Player versus Player
    • Fixed a bug causing class adjustments to not work as intended in Battle for Gilneas and Deepwind Gorge.
    • Carts in Deepwind Gorge are now correctly returned when clicked on by the defending faction.
  • Transmog
    • Straw Hats that correspond to your Armor type are now usable as Transmog appearances.

My Corehound ability Primal Rage is bugged where it doesn’t reset on dungeon resets and keeps it on CD. Can this bug be fixed too? All the other Pets do reset their exotic abilities when resetting dungeons and raids as it should, but the Corehound one doesn’t…

Straw Hats are still not giving you transmogs.

  • The Longest Day achievement no longer requires that dailies need to be completed in a single day.
  • The Saurok Stone Tablet is now correctly enabled. Players can now discover this treasure once for experience and progress towards their treasure achievement.
  • Classes
    • Death Knight
      • Frost Death Knights will now correctly display their Death Rune as refreshed from Blood Tap without having to spend another rune.
    • Warlock
      • Void Ray now correctly costs 40 Demonic Fury.
      • Developers’ notes: This was an unintended bug in patch 5.4 for Demonology, which looks to have gone uncorrected in the original game until Fel Flame was removed in patch 6.0.2.
  • Player versus Player
    • Fixed an issue where picking up the flag in a Rated Eye of the Storm match could affect the player’s ability to Stealth even after the flag had been capped.
  • Quests
    • During “The Wrestler” daily, Sling Sweat puddles will now be the correct size and the Slimy Feet debuff should now correctly always be removed when moving out of the ground effect.

  • Riding Turtle now correctly appears in the mount collections tab.
  • When in a Rated Battle for Gilneas, dying now always correctly places players back at their starting graveyard.
  • Ancient Mogu Keys are now correctly usable in Heroic Mogu’shan Palace.
  • Creatures for the achievement Over Their Heads should now correctly randomize.
  • Mogushan Vaults
    • Jan-Xi and Qin-Xi should no longer get desynced when performing the Arcing Slash combos.
    • Opportunistic Strike should now consistently appear when successfully avoiding Devastating Combo.
    • Titan Gas visual reduced in intensity.
    • Magnetic Armor now has a visual indicator for where Magnetic Pull will occur.
    • Elegon’s Energy Sparks should now consistently idle for a brief moment after spawning.
  • Warlock
    • Wrathguard will no longer occasionally deal no damage when using Wrathstorm.
  • Arenas
    • All Arenas now correctly display the number of remaining players on each team.
    • All Arenas now include timers displaying when the Arena will end.
    • The UI at the top now correctly displays the teams as being Purple and Gold.

any plans of fixing the hit arena bug before the expansion ends or?

Fix Galleon spawn time

not only is it in arena but any PvP instance hit rating & expertise that has been reforged into gets downscaled, any plans of fixing this before next expansion?
