Yes, especially draenei warlock seems like such an obvious step, as long as lightforged draenei are solidly exlcuded from it, because utterly nonsensical lore-wise and also utterly unnecessary if regular draenei can be warlocks.

This is nonsensical. Draenai and Lightforged Draenai specifically chose to reject the Burning Legion. They are the faction that rejected Archimonde and Kiljhadden’s choice to join the Sargeras and the Burning Legion.
How does Blizzard not tear down everything that they have built so far?
Part of what set WoW apart is that only certain races can be certain classes. Yes Blizzard nerfed racials into oblivion long ago. But Classes is one major part of how players experience the World of Warcraft.
