I have a soft-spot for arguably the least popular boss theme in FFXIV which was used for Heavensward mini-bosses in dungeons. It’s hype, epic, tense, a little bit scary, and then flits into a marching type of whimsical fantasy just to give you a little breather.
The opening segment is the definition of: “By the way – you’re about to have a boss fight. Good luck!”

One for the 80’s gamers who used to love the Commodore64. Enjoy a modern(ish) remake of the Last Ninja 2. Ironically, the teeny-weeny little but that uses the original music is the bestest.

Arguably the weaker of the expansions, yet one of the hypest dungeon themes ever. Once those lyrics kick in, you know sheet is about to go down.
