I see you are going to carry on in the same vein.
I’m not interested.

The defence of all ideologues is that any attack on their belief system is simply an insult. You have been gulled.
It isn’t.
No I didn’t and all you did is show me how little you understood the underlying issue. But please, continue…oh you did. How disappointing.
Of course you can’t ‘help’. There is no conspiracy and it is frankly bizarre to claim one. Every mythic (or previously heroic) raid has been released with a setting of ‘insane’ in which only a very few guilds clear it, sometimes only by use of an exploit. This is a simple fact. It then gets gradually nerfed until a sufficient number of people can clear it.
How is that a difficult concept? It is exactly what happens for every raid release. So: How is this a conundrum?
Blizzard gatekeeps the amount of people that will clear the raid as current content. This is blatant and clear to anyone who pays attention. Your skill level is irrelevant. The only question is how much of the population blizzard feels should pass their test before they move on and that, my not-a-friend, is a decision made by marketing and sales department.
You are spectacularly naive to think otherwise.
Grab yourself some good old Noggenfogger’s and pop those like an addict until you look a bit more dead. ^^
Not sure how you’ll manage the warrior look that way though.
OP wants a shot at my war bear.
No.
If you ask me I’m all for Blizzard removing mounts from the mythic end-boss when the new xpac launches.
Pointing out facts is never onerous.
And yet here you are.
Boost sellers would love that!
They certainly would!
Seeing as how I have an extreme hate in my core for any sort of boosting in this game, I’ll withdraw what I said earlier.
Let’s instead give them a 100% drop chance permanently, so we actually have a shot at removing boosters and let people play the game for themselves.
Think i might try this whole fitting the mog to the place of the mount you want thing. I just nee d to find a proper pirate mog for my mage for the times a FH key appears.
Pirate mog sounds pretty cool to have in any case.
My god dude you have issues. Just leave her alone and stop trying to bait her into saying something that will get her in trouble, it’s not happening. I suggest you go outside and get some fresh air!
So is this about mythic raid mounts or is it about mounts on heroic end of expansion raids that become unavailable when the new expansion rolls in? The thread title and your point contradict each other since you can still get mythic mounts later on, they just have a lower drop rate.
Can’t deny that and this mage has been using this mog for what feels like ages by now. Might be time for a change.
What comes next? Can we please stop giving the cutting edge players a better gear from what you and me use?
No buddy i dont think so, they should be rewarded something more from what you and me get because they do 10x more efforts than we do. I do have 1 cutting edge and i really didnt felt playing wow anymore after it, didnt even sit to get the mount im afraid.
If you want the mounts, you will get them in time as easy as a 1 button key press. But i think we have to wait abit and the mounts will come to our collections the solo way soon.
Cheers!
I’m sorry I upset your …xerfriend? I’ll use the indefinite because I don’t want to judge your relationship. I’m just giving you my honest view. Blizzard use layered difficulties to create the illusion of expanded content when in reality it is a tightly controlled exercising in marketing.
Please read and understand.
Lets imagine blizzard release a raid, but they screw up the numbers and it is basically unbeatable.
Oh noes! much sadness and unbearable angst!
All the streamers and tubers go on the warpath to complain about it creating a huge negative hatestorm. Bad times.
Now imagine the create the same raid, but screw up in the opposite direction, so it gets trampled on release. What happens? All the streamers and youtubers go on the warpath (again) creating a huge negative hatestorm. bad times.
At this point you might want to realise that I haven’t mentioned fun, enjoyment or any of the other things that people want to be part of the fundamental driving reasons for game design.
It is purely a metrics game. The highest level difficulty is set up to be essentially unbeatable by everyone except a tiny number of people. After that baseline is established, nerfs are introduced progressively until we reach the point where the marketing side is satisfied that people are positively engaged and excited, at which point the taps are turned off.
Your skill level doesn’t matter.
It is purely a marketing and engagement exercise. That is the objective measure of how hard a raid should be and claiming otherwise at this point flies in the face of all objective evidence.
Essentially what you are saying is: ‘Rewards should be tied into how effective the marketing department believes those rewards are in sustaining subscription levels. Player enjoyment is not a relevant metric’.
And you are defending this?
I mean, I’ve written enough reports like this to know the language. I just never expected the customers to be this happy about it. No wonder blizz are always praising their community.
Friend yes. You can get your point across without being an a** though
You actually have mentioned it, just not the word itself, but described a scenario that is very much enjoyable.
Raiders want a challange to overcome, the satisfaction of overcoming something difficult it one of the best feelings to some people and it does not really matter where it comes from.
Climbing the highest mountain, swimming the longest distance, solving a puzzle, losing weight, beating a difficult boss in a video game, all these things trigger the same feeling of accomplishment, not for everyone equally obviously.
The scenario you described would prevent that feeling, either by making the challange unbeatable or by, well… making it no challange at all so yes of course people would be upset.
No snark, I am shamed by your graciousness and concede the field. Have nice day.
Imagine youre working in a supermarket for 6 months packing peoples bags and dealing with old yapping broomsticks. You finally get that sweet, sweet promotion to manager with an awesome raise of 1 euro+ and hour. Youre proud of yourself, you feel pretty good. But oh wait, what’s this? Big boi Jeff that started a week ago and has been spending the majority of his time at the job, sitting out back chainsmoking marlboros and talking to his delutional ex about random bullsh*t that most definitely isnt job related got the same promotion. That doesn’t feel so good now does it?
I’ve been there, i’ve done mythic raiding. I’ve gotten the mythic mount when it was current and to be frank, the mount didn’t play a factor in me wanting to mythic raid. That being said, still doesn’t mean players like you should have access to it. You do the labor, you get rewarded. Certain aspects of the game rewards you in different ways. I’m not gonna sit here and whine about me not having the loremaster title, because i’m too lazy to get it.
If you want the flying sodastream mount, get good at your class, l2p the game, join a guild and stop whining. If every reward is easy to get and available to everyone, the game would become even more stale and boring than it already is.
Casuals like you have no IDEA how freaking good you have it in the current edoration. You have titanforging and tons of access to beautiful mounts and you STILL want more. It’s honestly a disgrace and you’re nothing short of lazy

Just realized i replied with the wrong character.
