you do realise even if people read this, their view on people who play multiple accounts simultaneously will be viewed negatively simply cause its along the same circumstances as botters of the damage it does to the community. Inflation of prices, nodes actively being forced to despawn more often etc etc.
I’m not sure if this thread was meant to clarify or make it less scary but uhm, nah its still does damage and TOS should be updated to atleast cut down on what you can / cant do when playing multiple characters

You know you can have your own opinions (even if they are wrong) but can’t you find a better way to get your point across?
It is hard when I’m killing multiboxer faming in Suramar. But multiboxing often leads to economy abuse. Look what happen on classic with Black Lotus prices. This same we had in Legion with Starlight rose when 10 druids picking every flower. Prices of those goods go up because multiboxers are only people on realms who can get them. Also lots of them making gold farms like Suramar gold, Iron Docks, Halls of Light, Botanica.
I never told that multiboxing shoud be banable but Blizzard shoud update they EULA years ago! They must put more restrictions. In my opinion good will be:
- Thrid party programs are not allowed to control character on in game client by coping keyboard imput like AutoHotKey, HotkeyNet or ISBoxer.
- You are allowed to use maximum five World of Wacraft account at time.
Multiboxing shouldn’t be banned but toned down. Nobody should be running 10 characters and emptying every node in sight like a plague of locusts.
As a boxer myself I would be happy with node changes and/or account limitations in terms of how many accounts can be run at the same time.

Some people feel fear of death so they complain even tho blizzard has said a thousand times that multiboxing is ok, and no its not because they get more money from someone with alot of accounts, they make billions they dont care about multiboxers money. there is no difference 5 players vs 1 or 1 guy with 5 chars vs 1, same thing. grow up & cease the hostility.
People have been mad about it for many years now but we are still here.
Most of the discussion I’ve seen is about how multiboxing should be bannable, not that it is currently. We know if Blizz wanted to take any steps against multiboxing, they could make it impossible to boot more than one instance of the game without using a third party software.
My opinion on it is that Blizz has designed the game in a way that encourages multiboxing.
One thing though - that bit where multiboxers use third party software to help with the controlling of multiple characters (like you press 1 once, and it presses 1 on all 10 instances you have running) - that’s not allowed by Blizz’s TOS. If Blizz doesn’t ban people for this it is only because they’re really, really bad at catching actual hacks, let alone some input assisting tools. But you can’t be using this type of software and act like your use of multiboxing is entirely legitimate.
