This song always makes me sad. For those who donā€™t know, Invincible was Arthasā€™ horse, and essentially, best friend. He was there at the birth of this horse when he was 9 at Balnir Farmstead (I believe). Years later, when he was 17, they were riding together through the woods on a winters day. After attempting to jump over a hill, they slipped, and a piece of ice mortally wounded the horse. Knowing he wouldnā€™t make it back in time to save it, he pulled out his sword and gave his companion a quick death to end its pain.
Eventually Arthas went back to the horses grave as The Lich King and pierced it with Frostmourne, returning it to life, well, undeath I suppose.
To me, this shows there is still some part of him that is human.
