My thoughts about WOTLK Classic as a fresh, first timer

Addons fundamentally change the game. They instruct individuals, on an at-need-basis, on the actions they need to carry out for optimal DPS, encounter mechanics, and positional issues.

Arena Banned the use of all addons except “Move Anything” in PVP tournaments and it made the game significantly more interesting and emphasised team and play co-ordination over whoever had the best addon set.

Blizzard already have addons in their crosshairs. They are as close to cheating as you can get without literally having something else play the game for you.

i have played Swtor for some time and they dont have addon support but the player has full control to tweak their UI, and i like that system.

Hey, I never called for addons to be banned. I’d hate that, given the number of addons I use. I’m a big fan of mods, which is why my Skyrim and Fallout 4 have, like, 127 of the damned things installed.

haha well here in WOW i use them to, just take atlas loot and maps just to take 2 of them, but if wow hadn´t addon support that would remove things like gearscore that for some is bad for the game.

as i wrote earlier i have played swtor were there was no addons, but ingame UI customization, that worked really good.
