The all time favorite was pre cataclysm Darkshore and Silverpine. Those were really epic places with lots of atmosphere.

Other than that, Broken isles and any Dalaran. Eversong fores and Ghostlands are also great places to be.

I couldn’t choose as I have a generic preference for forests. And Tanaris for a break, especially with the open sea music.

My first thought was Jade Forest from Pandaria, while considering real life preferences, I’d pick Howling Fjord.

But I like variety, even some good darkness.
The one expansion that didn’t click was Cataclysm. Too much upheaval in the zones, and even its forests felt barren anyway, probably to support flying. Nor the music, as Uldum is pretty much Tanaris v2. The only memorable zone for me was Vashj’ir.

I have very tender memories with Eversong Woods as a mainly blood elf player. The zone is unique and beautiful, and I always loved questing there. It applies to Isle of Queldanas and Ghostlands too, the quests were always fun to complete. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Elwynn is dear to me mainly because of its music and because I love humans as a race. Unlike Westfall, the quests aren’t so hard, and even in Classic they were more or less streamlined.

The catacombs underneath SW cathedral. Dunno why I like that. It reminds me of UD areas.
